Somehow, though, he still finds enough in the shot to send it sailing clean over the fielder at deep backward square leg.

OUT! FANTASTIC CATCH! Bangladesh have their fourth wicket and are understandably cock-a-hoop. Green's stay is cut short and he throws his head back in disappointment. He looks to whip the incoming length ball away off his legs, but comes through the shot a touch too early, and loses the grip on his bottom hand and the ball pops up flat to the right of Mushfiqur Rahim, stationed at mid-wicket. The veteran stretches in that direction and completes a fine catch with both hands. High fives all round, and a genuinely united bowling effort from Bangladesh sees the opening session go their way in some style. And that's LUNCH on Day 1.

Smith covers the stumps and looks to defend it down the pitch, but the ball keeps leaving him and flirts with the outside edge on its way to the keeper. Massive, massive appeal for caught behind, with Ebadot practically begging in front of the umpire, but Kumar Dharmasena shakes his head regardless. Litton Das, too, is convinced there's an edge somewhere in there, and Bangladesh send it upstairs. UltraEdge, though, returns a flat line as the ball passes the bat. Excellent call from the umpire, and Bangladesh burn their second review in the process, leaving them with just the one remaining. Interestingly, the replays suggest Smith was not entirely convinced either. As the footage rolled in, he even looked to be walking. Safe to say, the technology came to his rescue, perhaps to his own surprise more than Bangladesh's.

OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Bangladesh are right on top now as Marnus falls cheaply. Never really got going. Ebadot does his trademark military-style salute as he claims his first wicket. Angled back in from a length outside off, and this one has Marnus in a proper tangle, squared up and stuck between bat and pad as he tries to defend. The edge flies low, shin high, and Shanto has to react sharply to his left at third slip, throwing himself to his left to complete the catch. The umpires are checking whether the ball carried all the way through to the Bangladeshi skipper and it is confirmed that it did. Snaffled well above the ground, in fact. Australia slip from 45/0 to 61/3.

He looks really disappointed, but has to walk back after a decent start.

Australia are 45/1 as Weatherald's struggles come to an end. A bit unconvincing from the local lad and he shakes his head as he departs.
