Luckily, the ball flies into the gap between the second slip and the gully fielder for four runs.

However, the UltraEdge shows no bat involvement, but the Ball Tracking shows that the impact of the ball hitting the pad is outside the off stump. Pakistan lose their review.

OUT! CASTLED! That's a peach of a delivery from Khurram Shahzad. He pitches it on a good length, just outside off and nips it back to the left-hander sharply. Mominul Haque gets on his front foot and looks to punch it away, but it zips past the inside edge and rattles the top of the off pole. Mominul Haque departs, scoring 22 off 41 balls and Bangladesh lose their third wicket.

Najmul Hossain Shanto gets on his back foot, opens his stance and notices the ball skidding through. However, he does go through his pull shot toward the deep mid-wicket fence and gets the boundary.

The physio rushes in straightaway and so does the medical staff.

Looking to unsettle Abbas off his persistent length, Tanzid Hasan dances down the track and has a swing at it but gets beaten as the ball shoots a bit more off the good length. A good fast-bowler's stare from Abbas to Tanzid Hasan. 

 FOUR! Well, the charge down the deck on the previous ball seems to have worked for Tanzid Hasan. Abbas goes full and around the pads, Tanzid Hasan tickles this fine towards the fine leg fence for four.

This is very much unlike Abbas, as he usually is a robotic bowler who hits the right line and lengths consistently. Abbar errs in line and bowls it short and down the leg. Tanzid leaves it.

It has been a busy outing for both these batters and they have run extremely well between the wickets. On a length, around the pads, Mominul Haque tucks this in front of mid-wicket and takes another quick single. 

Around that nagging length, a touch too straight and shaping into the batter. Tanzid Hasan takes a baby step out in front and looks to nudge this around mid-wicket but misses out and gets hit on his front pad.

A tad full, around off, Mominul Haque gets onto his front foot to play the cover drive but gets it away from the inner half of his bat and back to the bowler.

Hard length, on off, tailing it back into the batter. Mominul goes for the drive again and hits it off the inside half of his bat towards mid-wicket.

Khurram hits the length hard, around off, angling it back into the batter. Mominul Haque gets beaten on the inside edge and the ball hits him on the thigh pad off his back foot. A gentle appeal for LBW but the umpire turns it down.

On a length, around off, Mominul Haque pushes this towards the right of covers and takes a single. The throw comes in towards the bowler's end and hits the stumps but deflects towards the space at mid-wicket and the batters take an extra run. The umpire sends this upstairs but the replay shows that Mh was well inside the crease when the ball hit the stumps. 

 FOUR! Such an eye-pleasing boundary from Tanzid Hasan. Slightly on the fuller side, around off, Tanzid Hasan prods onto the front foot and drives this through the left of the fielder at point for a boundary. His first in Test cricket. 

Good length, way too wide of off, Tanzid Hasan leaves it all alone. 

Abbas comes around the stumps and bowls it on a length and wide of off, Tanzid Hasan leaves it all alone as the ball was shaping away from him. 

Hard length, angling it back into the batter, in the line of the sticks. Tanzid Hasan gets nowhere with his footwork and ends up getting rapped on the pads. 

Full and around off, Tanzid Hasan drives this on the up and through the left of point for a couple this time. Despite the fall of Joy on zero, Tanzid has persisted with an aggressive approach on his debut. 

 FOUR BYES! A bit too straight and swinging way down the leg by Abbas and Bangladesh adds four more to their total. Good length, around leg, going further down. Tanzid leaves it, and despite the best of efforts from Mohammad Rizwan, the ball beats the keeper and races to the fine leg fence for four extras. 

Tanzid Hasan is off the mark in Test cricket with a lovely on-drive for three. Pitched up, around off, Tanzid Hasan gets right behind the line and nails the on-drive towards long on for three. Bangladesh are underway!

 OUT! CAUGHT! A dream start for Pakistan and Mohammad Abbas, as Joy departs in the first over without scoring. Good length, in the channel, around off, shaping a hint away from the batter. Mahmudul Hasan Joy doesn't move his feet much and has a poke at it away from his body. Gets it edged off the outside edge and the ball carries to Salman Agha at second slip. Agha gets low to his right and ends up taking a good catch. The umpires combine to send this upstairs for a check on the catch and the replay shows that the fingers of Agha were underneath the ball and Joy has to walk back.
