SIX! Only just, but it clears the man. Jaskarandeep Singh goes fuller on off, shaping it away. Sohaib Khan shuffles across, drops to one knee and launches the slog sweep over long on. The fielder springs up, arm outstretched, but the ball sails a whisper beyond his fingertips and into the stands. 10 off the first two balls, 29 needed off 16 balls.

WIDE! Pressure on the bowler! Much fuller, but sprays it beyond the tramline. Sohaib Khan makes a leave.

Short, outside off, this time, Singh just manages to keep the line inside the tramline. Sohaib Khan goes for a wild swing but fails to connect.

On a length, angling outside off, Sohaib Khan looks to heave it across the line, but it gets sliced from the outer part of his bat. The ball bounces off toward the left of the backward point fielder. However, Khan does exceptionally well to get the brace. Just after reaching the non-striker's end, he slips, but instantly gets back and dives to reach home safely.

It is a near yorker, speared wide outside off. Sohaib lunges and stretches to drive but gets it off the toe end, trickling back to the bowler. Jaskarandeep gathers and has a shy at the striker's end, rattling the stumps, but Sohaib has his back leg planted safely inside the crease.

Play and a miss! It is short and angling away outside off. Sohaib rocks back, shaping to muscle it over the leg side, but the ball whistles past the bat. Two dots to finish the over, yet it still yields a handy 13 runs.

A slower short ball to start the penultimate over, around the ribs of the batter. Aryansh Sharma mistimes his pull to the vacant deep backward square leg region. The fielder moves to his right, but the batter gets a couple of runs.

FOUR! Blazed away in a flash. It is too full and outside off, and Aryansha pounces, hammering it between mid off and extra cover. The ball races away as if chased by a train. 20 needed off 10 now, and the pressure shifts ever so slightly.

FOUR! Aryansh Sharma gets a bit lucky here! Kaleem Sana bends his back and offers a bouncer, outside off. Aryansh Sharma swings his blade to pull it away, but gets the top edge. The ball flies over the right of the keeper and bounces away to deep third for four runs. 16 needed off 9.

NO BALL! Oh my goodness. Kaleem Sana aims for a yorker here, but spills out a full toss, above the waist height, outside off. Sohaib Khan misses on his swat. Free-Hit coming up...

FOUR! Unlucky again for the bowler but not good enough bowling given the field setting. Short ball around off, around head height. Sohaib Khan goes hard at the pull and gets a top edge that flies over the keeper's head and rolls away into the fence behind. Just 10 needed off 7 and UAE seem to have turned it around.

FIFTY FOR SOHAIB KHAN! Everyone in the UAE dugout is on their feet to applaud this masterclass. This is much fuller, on middle. Sohaib Khan drives it downtown. The long-on fielder moves to his left and the batter gets a brace. He lifts his willow and soaks in the cheers. He miscues it over mid on where Nicholas Kirton backtracks and pouches it safely. 1 needed off 3 balls.

UAE WIN BY 5 WICKETS! It is short and around off, and Arfan hangs back before smashing it over mid-wicket. The ball races away and the UAE players are already charging onto the field before it reaches the fence. In fact, it's a single as the batters complete the required run before that. The celebrations erupt, a fine turnaround sealed in style. Smiles all around in the UAE camp, while Canada are left stunned, wondering how this one slipped through their fingers.
