Bumrah steams in from over the wicket, lands this back of a length and in the channel outside off, gets it to angle in but then straightens off the deck with extra bounce. Harry Brook stays back and tries to run it down to third man with an angled bat but only manages to get a thin outside edge to first slip, where Rohit Sharma takes a sharp catch. 3 wickets in the last 7 balls and this has been a roaring fightback from India.

Much fuller delivery, on middle, angling in, Jos Buttler drills it down the pitch.

Good length and on off, Jos Buttler opens the bat face and steers it towards point.

Lands this on a good length and around off, Jacob Bethell moves across for the scoop but gets cramped up to free his hands as the ball hits his thigh pad.

He realises that he is losing his balance and pops the ball in the air and then takes it cleanly by staying inside the ground. The third umpire is called in, and after checking it from different angles, he is convinced that it is a fair catch. Both English openers are gone in the same over.

FOUR! Duckett has found some real fluency since Bumrah has been taken out of the attack. Cross-seam ball, short and wide on off, there to be put away. Duckett gets on top of the bounce and slaps it past point.

Closer to the off stump and a bit fuller as well. Duckett swings at it, only to miss.

FOUR! Off the edge. At 142 kph, on a hard length, on off. A bit too close to the body, but Duckett still flashes at the ball. Gets a thickish outside edge that sails over Rohit Sharma at slip. The 50 is up for England with this boundary.

A bit of aggression shown by the bowler. Full and wide on off. Duckett reaches out for the drive but miscues it off the inner half to the bowler. Brar picks the ball and has a shy at the batting end. It bounces past the batter before going towards the keeper. Duckett responds with a smile.

SIX! Off the top edge. Brar digs it in short, over off. Duckett gets his hands high for the pull but the ball gets big on him and takes the top edge. It sails over long leg for half a dozen more. 17 runs off Brar's first over.

Duckett continues to ride his luck against Bumrah. Another ball that is pushed across the left-hander. Duckett fiddles at it and is beaten on the outside edge.

Hits the back of a length at 140 kph, on middle. Duckett dabs it to backward point.

A little too straight, on the pads, on the fuller side. Duckett lets the ball come to him and plays a wristy flick between mid-wicket and mid on for a couple of runs.

Drags the length back, on off and middle. Ben blocks it out from the crease.

Bumrah varies his length again as pushes it up, on off. Duckett tries to play it on the up but there is a bit of kick off the deck. He adjusts by taking the bottom hand off the bat handle as he plays it to mid off.

Fractionally short, across off. Duckett goes hard at the ball, trying to force it through the off side. Ends up chopping it down the strip.

From around the wicket, on a good length, on off. Bethell punches it to cover.

Fuller in length, on off. Bethell taps it wide of cover, where Virat Kohli stretches his left hand out and makes the stop. He turns around and has a shy at the batting end to keep Bethell honest in his crease. He misses the stumps and KL Rahul can't get around quickly enough to back the throw up. It goes down to deep fine leg for one.

Another play and a miss for Duckett. Angled away, on a good length. Ben flashes at the ball but misses and the ball keeps rising on its way to the keeper.

Very full, on off. Duckett slices it with an angled bat face between cover and mid off for one.

In the channel, on a length. Bethell goes for an expansive drive and is beaten past the outside edge.

At 137 kph, a bit more effort behind this ball by Krishna, in and around the off stump. Bethell stays back to deal with it but is squared up and eventually drops his wrists to let the ball go through.

Bashes the hard length, over off. Bethell gets on his toes and defends.

Angled in at the hips. Bethell helps it down to deep fine leg for a single.

From over the wicket for Duckett. Pushed across off, on a good length. Ben angles it to point.

Beaten on the outside edge again. At 142 kph, bowled on a hard length, across off. A nothing shot by Duckett as he pokes at the ball with no real convicition and the ball whistles past the outside edge.

A bit of extra bounce from a good length, on middle. Duckett is wise enough this time to take the bottom hand off the handle as he drops it down beside the strip on the off side.

A play and a miss! Fuller in length, going away in the air. Duckett does not move his feet at all and goes hard on the drive, only to miss.

A bit of shape back into the pads, on a length. Duckett checks his shot as he flicks it wide of mid-wicket. Washington Sundar dives to his right and parries it towards the mid on fielder. They cross.

Switches to around the wicket, angled in at the off stump. Bethell taps it down on the off side.

Full and targeting the off pole. Jacob pushes it to mid off.

Well bowled! Prasidh Krishna goes wide on the crease and lands it on a good length, in the corridor of uncertainty. Bethell feels the need to play at it due to the angle and is beaten on the block on the outside edge.

At the stumps, on a length. Bethell pats it in front of Shivam Dube at mid on, who is caught on his heels and the batters pinch in a quick single.

FOUR! Easy pickings. Krishna drifts on the pads with a length ball. Duckett picks it up nicely and plays it aerially behind square leg for a boundary.

Hooping away, on a short of a length, around off. Duckett hangs back and tries to play the late dab but misses.

That leapt up. Bumrah hits the deck hard and gets a good lift off the deck, on middle. Duckett stays back to fend it down but is taken aback by the extra bounce. His fingers get trapped against the bat handle and he cops a painful blow.

Moving away off the seam, on a good length, on off. Ben runs it down to deep third with an open bat face and gets to the other end.

From around the wicket for Bethell, bringing the ball back into the left-hander. On a good length, at the sticks. Jacob defends it out with a straight bat.

Beaten! Angled in before nipping away off the seam, on a nagging length, in the channel. A little fiddle at the ball by Bethell and he is beaten on the outside edge.

Fuller in length now, on the off pole. Bethell plays a punchy drive straight to mid off.

A hint of inward shape, very full in line with the off pole. Bethell gets his bat down and keeps it out.

Goes past the bat! This is fuller in length, pushed across the left-hander. A tentative poke at the delivery by Duckett and he is lucky not to nick it behind.

And again! Starting from middle and leg before shaping away from the left-hander. This is fuller in length and Ben pushes out in front but is beaten past the outside edge.

Pitches it up again, on off. Duckett leans into the drive and times it well, but can't get it past Virat Kohli at a catching cover, who moves to his left to make the stop.

Rapped on the pads! Not given. Doing too much, it seems and might have pitched outside leg as well. There comes the surprise inswinger, full and landing around the line of the leg stump. Duckett hurriedly tries to get his bat down but is beaten for pace and wears it on the front pad. The replays confirm that the ball pitched outside leg and the impact seemed outside the line as well.

FOUR! Nicely done. Ben Duckett and England are underway. Angled across by Bumrah, a bit too full. Duckett presses forward and just caresses the drive. It comes off the toe end of the bat, but it goes through the gap at cover and races away.
