Wide! Tries a bouncer now, around middle and leg. Matt Parkinson ducks under it. Wide given.

OUT! TAKEN! Arshdeep Singh ends with two wickets in his first outing! Singh bowls it very full and around off. Matt Parkinson guides it straight in the hands of Hooda who gets low at point and takes it. India win by 50 runs.

FOUR! A full toss on off. Jordon drives it firmly past mid off for a boundary.

SIX! Jordon is showing his batting skills here! Short in length and down the leg side. Jordon waits and pulls it over fine leg for a biggie.

Fuller and outside off. Jordon pushes it to covers. Off-pace this time.

On a length and on off. Jordon lofts it to long off for a single.

On a length and slanting on middle. Matt Parkinson tries to work on the leg side but misses and gets hit on the pads. 

A low dipping full toss on middle. Matt Parkinson jams it out to covers.

Length ball, on the leg side. Topley forces it to long on for one.

Wide! Slides it down the leg side. Jordon misses his whip. Wided.

Attempts a yorker on off. Jordon hits it to deep mid-wicket for a single.

A slower short ball on middle. Topley backs away as he looks to cut but gets a bottom edge to the keeper.

On a length and outside off. Topley looks to cut but misses.

Angles a full ball on leg. Topley smashes it to mid-wicket where a fumble allows a couple of runs.

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Maiden international wicket for Arshdeep Singh! He has a big smile on his face! Short of a length and on off. Topley makes room to slash at it but gets a bottom edge to the keeper, Dinesh Karthik who takes it cleanly. 

Length ball on off. Jordon pulls it to deep mid-wicket for a brace.

A single as Jordon punches this length ball to deep cover.

FOUR! Edgy runs! hits the hard length, outside off. Topley clears his front leg and tries to slam it away but gets a top edge, over the keeper for a boundary.

Length and on middle. Topley makes room and punches it through covers for one.

A length ball, slower and on middle. Jordon shuffles across and flicks it to short fine leg for a single.

Length and on top of off, worked to deep cover for a single. Hardik Pandya ends with four wickets. A superb all-round performance from him.

Short in length, outside off. Jordon looks to pull but misses.

EDGED AND FOUR! Short again this time on middle. Jordon looks to pull but gets a top edge, over the keeper and to the fence.

A slower length ball, outside off. Chris punches it to sweeper cover for a single.

Shorter, slower and on off. Mills tries to dab it away but gets an outside edge to the keeper who collets it on a bounce.

Slower ball, fuller and just around off. Mills swings wildly but fails to connect.

OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Patel gets a wicket now! A bouncer on middle, slower one. Mills does not read the pace as he tries to ramp it over the keeper but mistimes it completely and the ball lobs nicely to the left of Patel who takes it with ease. 

It is full and outside off. Jordan slaps it hard and back to the bowler. Yuzvendra Chahal fails to pick it up and they take a single.

SIX! BOOM! It is tossed up, on off. Mills slogs it powerfully over the mid-wicket fence for a maximum.

Looped up, outside off. Mills misses it completely.

Loopy ball, on the pads, Mills fails to clip it away and gets rapped on the pads.

DROPPED! This time it is Deepak Hooda that drops the catch. It is full and outside off. Tymal Mills reaches out and lofts it towards long off. Deepak Hooda settles under it but fails to pouch it safely. He throws it hard back to the bowler in anger. They take one.

Floated and full, outside off. Jordan pushes it to covers for one.

EDGED BUT SAFE! It is a good-length delivery, around off, shaping away. Jordan hangs his blade away from his body and nicks it to the right of the keeper. Dinesh Karthik dives to that side but only gets a glove on it. They take one.

Length, on off, blocked out.

Back of a length, outside off. Sam Curran pulls it to deep mid-wicket for a brace.

Length ball, outside off. Curran pulls it down to long on for two runs.

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Hardik Pandya grabs his fourth wicket. He hits the hard length, on the body. Sam Curran tries to hook it away but ony manages to find the outside edge. The ball lobs towards the keeper and Dinesh Karthik takes a dolly this time. England in all sorts of trouble now.

Another wicket-taking over by Hardik Pandya comes to an end. Length ball, on off. Mills blocks it out.

OUT! CAUGHT! Yuzvendra Chahal breaks this stand which was starting to hurt India. Chahal goes short, outside off. Brook stays on the back foot and pulls it to deep mid-wicket. Suryakumar Yadav runs to his left and takes a solid catch.

Tossed up, outside off. Ali lofts it over covers. Arshdeep Singh almost makes a mess of it in the deep. He saves a couple.

FOUR! Incredible shot! It is short, outside off. Moeen Ali stands back and cuts it through point for a boundary. 100 up for England.

On off, pushed out.

OUT! STUMPED! Dinesh Karthik fumbles initially but has enough time to disturb the bails and send back Moeen Ali. Yuzvendra Chahal gets his second wicket in the over and India are right back on top. It is full and on middle, turns away a touch. Ali comes down the track and tries to heave it away but misses. Dinesh Karthik fumbles but does not waste this opportunity. 

Fuller, on the pads, Jordan clips it to square leg for a single. 7 runs and two wicket off it.

LEG BYE! On the pads, Ali tries to flick it away but misses. It goes off his pads to fine leg. They collect a leg bye.

Flatter and on off. Brook cuts it to point for one.

Short, outside off. Ali lofts it towards sweeper cover. It lands safely for a single.

Short ball, on off. Brook pulls it to mid-wicket for one.

FOUR! A bit fortunate this time. This is a low full toss, on leg. Ali comes down the track and swings. It takes an inside edge and runs down to the fine leg fence.

SIX! BANG! Ali is taking the charge here. It is full and on off. Ali skips down the track and smokes it over the wide long on fence with disdain.

LEG BYE! Floated around off. Brook moves across and gets it to third man off his pads. They collect a leg bye.

FOUR! Some fortune for Ali now. It is full and outside off. Moeen Ali gets on one knee and tries to slog it away. It flies off the top-edge towards fine leg. It races away into the boundary.

Tossed up, outside off. Ali tries to chase it but misses.

Short ball, outside off. Ali cuts it to the right of backward point. The fielder makes a quick stop and allows only a single.

It is slow and a touch short, Brook reverse-sweeps it to backward point. The fielder makes a sharp stop. One taken.

Tossed up, outside off. Ali stays back and lifts it up to the right of extra cover. Suryakumar Yadav should've taken it but drops it. He looks shocked.

FOUR! Boundary to start for Patel! Shorter and outside off. Brook slaps it hard and through covers for four. It raced away to the fence.

An arm ball, slower in the air and on middle, worked to deep cover for one.

This one drifts away, fuller and outside off. Ali looks to drive but misses.

TWO WIDES! Angles it down the leg side. Ali misses his heave. The keeper fails to collect and it rolls to fine leg for a single.

On middle, flicked to deep mid-wicket for one more.

Tossed up, on off. Ali turns it to deep mid-wicket for a run.

Flatter and on off. Brook makes room and punches it to long off for a single. 10 runs off the over. England are 72/4 at the halfway mark. 127 needed in 60 balls.

On middle, eased down to long on for a single.

Fuller ball on off, Ali pushes it to covers.

SIX! This is in the slot, fuller and on off. Ali gets on his knee and slogs it, gets more height but enough distance to clear the deep mid-wicket fence.

On the pads, clipped to square leg for a single.

A googly, fuller and around leg. Brook gets low to heave it across but misses and the ball whizzes past the leg stump. 

Fuller and outside off. Brook dances down the track and smashes it past the bowler for a single. 

FOUR! Beautiful shot to get off the mark! On a driving length, outside off. Ali gets low and drives it on the up, over covers for a boundary.

Slower one, around off. Blocked out.

Outside off, punched through covers for a single.

On a length and on middle. Brook gets inside the line and tucks it to mid-wicket. They call for a couple and complete it quickly. There is a chance for another single as there was no one backing up but Ali overrun this time.

On a length and on off. Brook dabs it to backward point.

DROPPED! Dinesh Karthik lets it through! Short of a length and outside off. Brook tries to ramp it away but gets an outside edge, high and towards the keeper. Dinesh Karthik tracks back and tries to take over his shoulder but fails to do so. Should have been taken it.

Wide! Bangs a short ball on middle. Roy looks to pull but misses. Dinesh Karthik is again in action as this time he leaps to collect it.

OUT! TAKEN! Pandya gets his third and Roy walks back while shaking his head. His struggling stay comes to an end. A length ball, outside off, hint of away swing. Roy is rooted to his crease and swings across but without much conviction. He gets a top edge and Harshal Patel takes it at third man. What a spell this is from Pandya. First with the bat and now performing with the ball.

Pushes it through on a length, outside off. Brook has a poke at it but misses.

FOUR! Pandya continues to bowl on the hard length, outside off. Brook throws his bat at it and dabs it past first slip for a boundary.

SIX! Brook reads the length this time as he stays back to pull this short ball to deep mid-wicket. The ball lands on the cushion and it has been given a six.

Short of a length and outside off. Brook inside edges his push, just over the stumps. 

On middle, Brook tucks it to mid-wicket for a couple of runs. 

Leg bye! Length ball, following the batter on the leg side. Roy misses his flick and gets hit on the pads. It rolls to square leg for a leg bye.

Hits the hard length, outside off. Brook looks to punch but gets an inside edge onto his pads. 

A length ball, angling down the leg side. Brook gets a faint edge as he tries to flick and Dinesh Karthik only gets a hand to it. Was a hard one to hold onto it. A single.

On a length and outside off. Roy slashes at it but misses.

Length ball, outside off. Roy leans and punches it to the left of mid off for a single.

What a beauty to end the over! Short of a length, around middle, it nips back in off the deck. Brook is cut in half as he tries to play but misses and Dinesh Karthik dives to his left to collect it. An appeal follows but there was no bat. Another impressive over from Kumar. England are 32/3 at the end of the Powerplay.

FOUR! Malan greets him with a boundary. It is short and wide outside off. Malan punches it through point off his back foot for a boundary.

OUT! CLEANED UP! Hardik Pandya has the last laugh! A great comeback by him. It is a length ball, on off. Malan is caught inside his crease, he tries to push it away but gets an inside edge onto the stumps. England lose their second wicket isnide the Powerplay. 

Short ball, outside off. Livingstone tries to chase it but misses.

LEG BYE! OUCH! That must've hurt. It is a length ball, around off. Liam Livingstone tries to heave it across the line but misses. He gets hit on his ribs. They collect a leg bye.

Length ball, outside off, shaping in off the deck. Jason Roy looks to pull it away but top-edges it to mid-wicket. It lands safely. They take one.

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Poor shot selection by Liam Livingstone here. Hardik Pandya strikes for the second time in his first over. This is incredible start for India. On a length ball, outside off. Liam Livingstone shuffles across and tries to scoop it over the keeper's head but does not get a good connection. He only nicks it to the keeper and Dinesh Karthik makes no mistake. 

Length ball, outside off. Malan comes across and heaves it over mid-wicket. Hardik Pandya gives it a chase and keeps it down to two.

This is on a length, aimed at the pads, Malan flicks it to the leg side.

Back of a length, wide outside off. Malan sways away from the line and leaves it alone.

FOUR! Fine shot by Malan! Fraction short, outside off. Malan picks up the length quickly and pulls it to deep mid-wicket for a boundary. Malan is finding his rhythm early this time. He usually gives himself time to settle in.

FOUR! Shouts of catch but it goes through the gap! Good length, wide outside off. Malan cuts it through the gap between point and backward point. It races away. 

Short ball, on off. Malan pulls it to mid-wicket for a single. The batters cross for a single. 11 runs come off it. Just what England need at this point. 

Length ball, outside off, shaped across the left-hander. Left alone.

Kumar goes full this time, on off. Malan gets behind the line and blocks it back to the bowler.

FOUR! Dawid Malan gets off the mark with a boundary. This should ease some pressure. This is length and on off. Malan walks across and flicks it over mid-wicket for a boundary. 

Good length, on fifth stump. Malan stays back and dabs it down to third man for a single.

Angled into the pads, on a length. Roy tucks it to mid on for a quick single.

Length ball, on the pads, Malan clips it to mid-wicket for one. A good over by Kumar, just 7 runs off it.

WOW! This is some movement for Arshdeep Singh. It lands on a length, around middle and nips in to hit Jason Roy in the pads, but down leg. 

Swing and a miss! This one is on a length, around leg. Jason Roy skips down the track and tries to heave it away but misses. He gets beaten on the inside edge.

Three dots in a row here! It is full, angled across the right-hander, on off. Roy fends it to covers.

TWO LEG BYES! This one lands around middle and leg, shapes down leg, Roy tries to flick it away but misses. It goes past the keeper off the pads. The batters collect two leg byes.

Jason Roy appreciates the ball this time. This is incredible stuff from Singh. This is full, outside off, leaving the right-hander. Jason Roy looks to play it through the line but misses it completely.

A loud appeal for LBW but the umpire is unmoved! A great start by Arshdeep Singh. He fires it full, with some inward movement around leg. Jason Roy is unable to get his blade down in time and gets rapped on the pads. Singh appeals but the umpire isn't convinced. Going down leg, mostly.

England could not start their innings straightaway. Kumar serves it on a length, outside off, it shapes away off the deck. Jason Roy tries to chase it but misses.

Kumar gets good shape yet agian. It is served on a length, around off, nips away a touch. Roy stays back and blocks it out.

Absolute beauty from Kumar! On a length, just outside off, moving away off the deck. Roy is beaten on the outside edge.

Good length, on the fourth stump. Roy shuffles across and clips it to mid-wicket for a single.

OUT! TIMBER! Bhuvneshwar Kumar draws the first blood and gets rid of a dangerous Jos Buttler. The English skipper departs on a golden duck. Kumar fires it full and around off, this one nips in off the deck. Jos Buttler stays back and ends up playing all around it. The stumps are shattered and the Indians celebrate. Not the start England would have wanted. 

TWO LEG BYES! It is a length ball, just outside off. Malan tries to cut it away but misses. It goes past the keeper off the pads. They take two leg byes.
