In the air... lands safely. Short ball, hammered into the deck, Harry Brook backs away to take it on but miscues it high and over mid off for a couple of runs.

SIX! How's that gone for a six? Back of a length, angled well into the batter. Harry Brook hangs on the back foot and keeps backing away during the swing and manages to nail it over long on for a biggie.

Nails the yorker at the leg stump. Brook makes room and squeezes it out through covers for a single. Just one big hit away are England now.

FOUR! Absolutely thumped. Bowled on a length, angled across the right-hander. Salt shuffles slightly to get closer to the line of the ball and just swings through the line as he belts it to the right of mid off for a boundary.

Wide! The scores are level with this extra. A bumper, outside off, too high. Salt lets it go. 

That's it. England cruise to victory and put the series to bed. Arshdeep hurls it on a back of a length, outside off. Salt stands tall on top of the bounce and punches it wide of cover for a single to complete the chase. England make it 3-0 in the series with a game to go.

Full-pitched delivery, angled into the stumps, Salt punches it back to the bowler.

Good length, jammed in towards the pads. Salt stays compact and taps it towards mid on for a single.

A well-directed short ball, right over the front shoulder. Brook looks to pull but is well beaten.

Hard length, attacking the top of off. Brook hangs back and swings it away to deep square leg for a run.

On a good length, nips back in off the deck. Salt lets the ball come on, before dabbing it down in front of covers, pinching an easy single.

Just a bit fuller and sliding into the pads, Brook gets an inside edge off the pads and to the left of the keeper for another single. A rare over without a boundary for England.

FOUR! FIFTY for Phil Salt, second in a row. Full and angled down leg, Phil Salt tickles it down to fine leg and the ball races away to the fence.

Hits the back of a length, on off. Salt takes a couple of steps down the track and tries to play the late dab but misses.

Just short, and there was a run out chance as well. Krishna pitches it up, on off. Salt tries to get under the ball to go over mid off but fails to get any sort of elevation. Shreyas Iyer dives forward but the ball does not carry. The ball dribbles in front off his body, and Brook tries to sneak in a single, but there isn't any. Iyer picks the ball up and has a shy at the bowling end but misses. Harry had given up and was gone had the throw hit.

Hurls it on a good length, on the off stump. Salt punches it square on the off side for a single.

Bowled on a short of a length, angled in on middle and leg. Brook walks inside the line for the scoop but fails to connect.

FOUR! Things are going England's way, but they have created their own luck today. Banged in short over middle, quicker too. Harry Brook comes down the track to whack it away but gets a top edge that flies over the keeper's head for a boundary.

Good length in the channel, driven on the up and square through the off side for a single.

A slower bumper from around the stumps, dug in well short and outside off. Harry Brook reaches for it and smashes it like a tennis-forehand to the left of deep mid-wicket and picks up two runs.

Another short ball, angled well in from outside off, Brook hops to the leg side and ramps it fine of deep third for another brace.

Somehow, Brook has managed to get it away. Singh goes back to over the wicket, bowling it full on leg. Brook sets up for the reverse flick but adjusts and laps it down to fine leg for a run.

FOUR! Edged away! Pace off from Arshdeep, slightly wide outside off. Salt waits back to cut but gets an outside edge perfectly between the keeper and the short third fielder for a boundary.

Around the wicket for the final delivery, full and just outside off. Salt opens the bat face and angles it through backward point for a run.

On a back of a length, outside off, this is driven through covers for a run.

Wide! Pace off but this is beyond the tramline on off. Brook lets it go.

FOUR! Incredible shot. Dube angles it in at the sticks, on a length. Brook gives himself a bit of room and angles the bat face to carve it behind point for a boundary.

FOUR! Hammered away! Into the wicket, on middle. This sits up to be hit and Brook climbs all over it as he pulls it powerfully to the right of long on. With this boundary, the 100-run stand comes up between these two batters.

Wide! Dug in short, outside off. That is left alone for the keeper to collect. Too high for the umpire's liking.

On a hard length, on off. Brook makes room to force it through the off side. Miscues it off the inner half to long on. They cross.

Good running. Serves it on a good length, on middle and leg. Salt tucks it with soft hands in the vacant square leg region and hustles back for the second run.

A bit fuller and on off. Salt plays the square drive to deep point for one.

Short and on middle, Brook goes back in the crease and flicks it away through mid-wicket for a single.

Slower and shorter, on off. Salt dabs it down the deck.

SIX! All the way. Floated up, a bit wide and on a length. Salt extends his hands into the lofted hit and goes over wide long off for a flat six.

Axar responds by dragging his length back, on off. Phil knocks it to long off and gets to the other end.

FOUR! Untidy in the field. Full and quick, on off. Brook gets his hands through the ball and cracks the drive past extra cover. Abhishek Sharma covers a lot of ground to his left at long off and dives but ends up parrying the ball into the fence.

SIX! Straight as an arrow. That has gone back many a mile. Harry Brook brings up his FIFTY in just 21 balls. The English skipper has displayed ball-striking of the highest order. Flighted up, fuller and on middle. Brook dances down the track and launches it back over the bowler's head for a biggie. The 100 is up for England.

Short and this keeps straight, outside off. Brook flashes but fails to connect.

FOUR! Hit hard and wide enough. This is pushed through again by Sundar, short and outside off. Brook presses on the back foot and flat bats it down the ground for a boundary.

SIX! Put away with disdain. A bit too short by Sundar, on middle. Brook needs no second invitation as he presses back and nails the pull in front of square for a maximum.

FOUR! That has rocketed to the fence. Fuller and wider on off. Brook gets the width to work with, and he reaches out before spanking it to the left of cover.

FOUR! The perplexed look on Sundar's face tells the story. He does not seem to have any answers at the moment. From around the wicket, fired across the off stump and it is short. Brook stands tall on top of the bounce and punches it through covers for another four.

Short and across again, this is hit down to long on for a single. 19 runs off Sundar's first over as England continue to motor along.

Darted in on middle, on the shorter side. Salt punches it to the right of deep point for a brace.

A bit fuller, sliding in on middle. Phil taps it back to Patel.

Angled in on a length, on middle and leg. Salt works it to long on and crosses over.

Bowled with a slightly round-arm action, on a good length, on middle and leg. Harry wrists it to deep mid-wicket for just a single.

Another ball that is speared in but this is fuller. Phil eases it in front of long on and rotates the strike.

Quicker and shorter, on middle. Brook nudges it behind square leg for another single.

Angled in at the hips. Brook turns it through square leg for a single.

India burn a review. Skidding through, on top of leg. Salt clears the front leg and tries to swing it away on the leg side. The ball sneaks under the willow to hit him on the back thigh. The batters sneak in a leg bye as the ball goes away on the off side. Prince Yadav is interested, and Ishan Kishan can be heard saying that at worst it could be umpire's call. Shreyas Iyer takes the review. No bat involved but on Ball Tracking, the ball is going over the leg pole.

On a good length, on middle, that is defended solidly off the front foot.

Hits the back of a length, on middle. Brook waits on it before tucking it to the left of deep square leg. They take the first run hard and come back for the second.

FOUR! Cheeky! Brook shimmies towards the leg side initially before walking back towards the stumps. Prince goes searching for the yorker but ends up serving a low full toss on middle and leg. Harry gets inside the line and drops to a knee before playing the scoop fine of the man at short fine leg.

Not in control but safe. A well-directed short ball, around the right shoulder. Brook is rushed on the pull and it is skied off a top edge but luckily for the English skipper, it drops out of reach of the back-tracking Shivam Dube in the deep fine leg region. A couple of runs to end the Powerplay. After 6 overs, England are 62/1, chasing 159.

FOUR! Phil Salt is now galloping on his horse. Short ball, slightly wide outside off, Salt hangs back and slashes hard, using the pace and hitting it over short third for a boundary.

Krishna bashes the hard length and darts the ball into the batter at 142 clicks. Salt blocks it off.

Pitched fuller and just outside off, Salt stays deep in the crease, looking to heave it leg side but gets an inside edge towards short fine leg for a single.

That's well bowled. Brook is way too early to shuffle past the off stump and Prasidh Krishna just goes full and fast, wide outside the off stump. Brook doesn't even try to reach it in the end.

Half a shout for LBW, but there's an inside edge on it. Fullish length on off, shapes back in, Brook looks to drag it leg side but gets an inside edge onto the pads and the ball goes behind point for a single. Also, Prasidh Krishna has now overstepped, so it is called a No Ball and another Free Hit is incoming.

FOUR! Just over the scrambling keeper. A sharp bumper around off, Phil Salt gets across to pull but is rushed and the ball goes off the gloves and over the keeper, dribbling into the deep third fence.

FOUR! Driven through the off side, a third straight 15-run over as well. Overpitched delivery outside off, Phil Salt hangs back and smacks it between cover and point for a boundary. 50 up for England.

Oh, not too far away from the stumps. Good length, on middle, shaping back in. Phil Salt clears the front leg to swing it leg side but is beaten past the inside edge.

Salt is going nowhere, not yet off the mark after 9 balls now. Yadav hits the good length again, bowling it at the stumps, Salt just defends it out.

NO BALL AND FOUR! Yadav changes tactics and Phil Salt manages to get one away. Slower one, full and wide outside off, Salt reaches out and slaps it through covers for a boundary. Also, Prince has overstepped, so a Free Hit to follow now.

BOWLED'EM! But it won't count! Yadav nails the yorker on leg stump, Salt gets inside the line to whip it behind square leg but is well beaten and the ball smashes into the leg pole. 

FOUR! A length ball on off, angling in. Salt looks to block it under the eyes but ends up running it fine off the toe end of the blade and into the deep third fence.

WIDE! A bit shorter but angled down the leg side. Salt looks to pull but misses.

FOUR! Now, that will give Salt a lot of confidence. On the fuller side of a good length, straighter too. Phil Salt stays leg side of the ball and pummels it to the left of mid on for another boundary.

A single to end, but again 15 runs off it. Hard length on the pads, flicked off the legs and down to fine leg for a single.

Pitched full and on off, just a hint of movement inwards. Buttler looks to drag it leg side but gets it off the inside half of the blade to mid-wicket.

SIX! That's been belted down the ground. Length ball on off and middle, right in the slot. Buttler holds his shape and slams it towards the sightscreen for the first biggie of the chase.

OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Top comeback from Arshdeep Singh and Jos Buttler starts walking. Similar length to the previous delivery, but in the channel outside off. Buttler is a bit tentative, hanging back and looking for the inswing, but the ball goes straight on. Buttler tries to run it fine but gets nicked behind, and Ishan Kishan gobbles it up with ease.

Hard-length delivery, on middle and leg, Brook stays put and just dabs it across into the on side.

SIX! Harry Brook decides to take Arshdeep Singh on, and that's a cheeky shot. Hard length again, angled across off, Brook shuffles to the off side and scoops it over fine leg for a maximum.

WIDE! Slower one, pitched full and well wide of the off stump. Left alone by Brook.

A low full toss, curves back in from outside off. Harry Brook opens the bat face and slaps it to the left of deep point for a couple of runs. 15 runs and a wicket off that over.

Prasidh too starts on a fuller length, attacking the stumps. Jos Buttler leans on and drives it straight to mid on.

Another appeal for LBW, probably sneaking down leg. Good length on middle, slanting it back in. Buttler plays across the line but misses and gets pinged on the front pad.

First run off the bat for England. Back of a length around off, Buttler walks inside the line, nudging it to the left of short mid-wicket. Washington Sundar is sloppy and lets it through the hands for a single.

A full ball, fired into the pads, Salt fails to flick it away. The ball thuds off the pads, rolling behind square leg for a leg bye.

The English openers don't seem to have quite got their timing right so far. Short of a good length, hitting the deck hard and around off. Buttler jams it down to mid off.

Good length at the stumps, Buttler comes forward and tucks it past mid-wicket for a run. England are 7/0 after 2 overs, chasing 159.

A bit of shape straightaway. Arshdeep Singh pitches the ball full and on middle, getting it to tail back in. Phil Salt flicks it away in front of mid-wicket.

Salt looks to bunt and run, but there's no single there. Good-length delivery, around leg, Salt nudges it in front of short mid-wicket, who is quick to pounce on the ball.

FOUR LEG BYES! England's chase is underway. Singh's line is too straight to begin with, full and down leg. Phil Salt misses the flick and the ball goes off the pads down to fine leg for four leg byes.

Another full inswinger, this time starting on off and middle. Salt jams it down to mid on.

Singh darts another inswinger at Salt's pads, offering no width at all. Salt gets cramped for room and stabs it across to mid-wicket.

A big appeal for LBW, but the umpire says no. The keeper Ishan Kishan seems interested but the stand-in captain, Tilak Varma, opts against the review. Hard length on middle, jags back in whilst staying a tad low. Phil Salt looks to swivel-pull but misses and gets hit high on the pads. The Ball Tracking later shows that the ball would have gone over the stumps.
