OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Mohammad Rizwan's decision to take a single on the first ball has backfired here. It was bizarre anyway, exposing Khurram Shahzad to Ollie Robinson for a whole over, and Pakistan have paid the price. Coming to the delivery, this is on a good length and around off, shaping away. Shahzad stays in his crease and just has a feel for it. It flies off the outside edge towards third slip, where Jordan Cox takes another sharp catch to his right.

Ali Usman gets forward to block but gets a thin outside edge behind. Jamie Smith is standing up to the stumps and before he can react, the ball hits his right thigh and lobs up in the air. Jordan Cox at third slip shows great awareness and dives forward to gobble it up.

Salman Agha gets stuck in his crease and tries to block it out with his bat in front of his pad but plays down the wrong line. The ball sneaks past the inside edge to hit him on the front pad. There is an appeal, but the umpire takes his time. The ball lobs up, and Dan Lawrence at gully grabs it, and then the finger goes up. However, Agha sends this upstairs. First, UltraEdge confirms no bat is involved, so bat-pad is out of the question. But the Ball Tracking shows three reds, with the ball crashing into the leg stump. Excellent on-field decision, and Pakistan are 76/6 now.

OUT! CAUGHT! Josh Tongue strikes in his first over. Once again, credit must go to Joe Root for putting a fielder in the right place. This is a fuller delivery, angling down the leg side. Not a wicket-taking delivery at all. Saud Shakeel, who has been trying to play his shots from the start of the session, tries to flick it off the pads. He connects more from the inside half of the bat. It flies to the right of short fine leg, who is standing a lot squarer than usual. Dan Lawrence puts in a dive to his right and takes a superb catch. Shakeel cannot believe that he has picked out a fielder here but has to walk back. Pakistan are 68/4, still trailing by 170 runs.
