OUT! GIVEN LBW! Both the Kiwi openers are removed now. Finn Allen is not too impressed with the decision on his way back. He is looking at his bat, maybe, there was some inside edge. Skidding down the leg side, Allen gets back to work it around the corner but misses. It goes off his pads to square leg and they steal a leg bye.

OUT! BOWLED! Tim Pringle has bounced back well after experiencing a tough time on the field in the last over. An arm ball is served, it's around off and Martin Guptill tries to defend it off the front foot. The ball though lands and straightens a hint to beat the blade of the batter. It goes on to disturb the stumps and the Netherlands have an early breakthrough.

Short in length and outside off, Santner cuts it off his back foot but finds Shariz Ahmad at point.

SIX! Out of here! Loopy and full, around off, Santner finds it in his zone, clears his front leg and smokes it over long on for a biggie. This is why Santner has come up the order, to take on the left-arm spinner.

Quicker one, around off and skidding away, Santner stays back to hit it hard but misses. The keeper breaks the stump and appeals but nothing from the umpire standing at square leg.

SIX! Dismissed! A friendly full toss, around off, Finn walks across the stumps and launches it deep into the stand at square leg for a biggie.

DROPPED! What a costly miss! Short in length, around middle, Allen pulls it with great timing but it goes flat and straight to Tim Pringle at deep backward square leg. He spills the chance and the batters cross.

Fuller and on middle, Guptill knocks it down to the left of mid on and takes a brisk run.

FOUR! Slower one, a touch short and around off, Finn Allen goes for the full-blooded pull shot but it races off the inner half of his bat. Tim Pringle runs across to his right to make the stop at deep backward square leg but fails.

Lands it on a good length and outside off, Allen heaves it off the inner half and it goes on one bounce to Pringle at deep square leg. They cross for a run.

Four leg byes! 17 from the over. Back of a length, around leg and sliding down. Guptill tries to glance but misses. It touches his thigh pad and runs wide of short fine leg for a boundary.

Starts with a flatter arm ball, around leg, Guptill brings his bat down in time as he defends it to mid-wicket.

Too full this time, around middle, Martin Guptill drills it back and the bowler makes a fantastic stop in his followthrough.

Edgy! Loopy and full, around off, Guptill drags his attempted slog-sweep. It goes through square leg and they cross.

Swing and a miss! Full and flighted, around off and turning away, Allen tries to heave it over the leg side but misses. The intention is quite clear from both the Kiwi openers.
