Get it high on the bat, and it goes towards deep mid-wicket, where David Miller moves to his right and flings himself at the ball with an outstretched right hand, but the ball evades him and goes into the fence.

SIX! Hit with real authority! Lungi tries to tuck the batter up for room. Bowls it on a good length but Cooper puts his head down and clears the front leg. He whips it towards wide long on for a six.

Slower this time, back of a length, on off and middle. Shreyas Iyer camps back and tucks it with soft hands toward the vacant mid-wicket region. Abishek Porel charges in from the deep, but fails to pick the ball up in one go and that allows the batters to complete the second run comfortably.

A big swing and a miss! Tiwari pushes the length up, in the channel on off. Iyer leaves nothing in the tank and swings hard, looking to thrash it through the off side. The ball nips away a bit to go past the outside edge.

FOUR! Fine shot! Mukesh serves it on a good length, outside off. Enough width for Iyer to cash in. Shreyas waits on the back foot and cuts it late to thread the gap between backward point and deep third for a boundary.

One hand comes off the bat's handle but what helped Shreyas was that he went through with the shot. It clears the man at mid off inside the circle and goes over the fence for a flat six.

It almost lands at his feet before it bounces again beside the strip on the leg side. Shreyas Iyer thought about going after it but then bailed out. Since the second bounce was beyond the crease, it has been deemed a wide and not a No Ball.

Shreyas Iyer stays on his back foot and tries to push it toward cover, but gets beaten on the outside edge. The ball drops just in front of the keeper, KL Rahul, and he fails to gather it. The ball nutmegs him and races away to the fence for four byes.

OUT! STRAIGHT UP AND CAUGHT! A big moment for the youngster as he is rewarded with a wicket in the very first over. Madhav lands it fuller and outside off, and this one curves away late from the left-hander. Arya looks to loft it inside out, but slices it high towards deep point due to the movement. Gets no timing at all and Sahil Parakh takes a simple catch in the deep. Tiwari probed the batters and has picked up his maiden wicket in the IPL. PBKS are 97/2 in 9 overs.

Much fuller from Nabi, pitching it just outside off. Priyansh Arya looks to loft it over cover, but gets the connection from the outer half of the bat. The ball flies flat and drops well short of the deep backward point fielder. Single taken.

 FOUR! Helped on its way! Short ball, arriving at shoulder height, on leg. Shreyas Iyer gets inside the line and lifts his front leg to balance himself. Uses his wrists to good effect and guides it fine to the deep fine leg fence for a four. The PBKS skipper is off the mark.

FOUR! Streaky! Nabi bangs it on a hard length, just outside the off stump. Shreyas Iyer rocks back and looks to defend, but gets nicked on the outside edge. Luckily, the ball flies away to the right of the keeper and races away toward the deep third fence.

OUT! IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! Mukesh strikes and breaks the opening partnership. On a back of a length, nipping back in from middle. Prabhsimran Singh looks to play the pick-up shot, but has little room to work with. Ends up shanking it off the higher part of the bat to deep backward square leg. The ball dips on Auqib Nabi at the mentioned position, but he does well to dive forward and cleanly scoop the ball before the ground. Prabhsimran Singh struggled throughout his stay to time the ball, and he now walks back to the dugout. PBKS are 78/1 after 6.5 overs.

JAFFA! Back of a length with extra zip and bounce off the surface, outside off. Shreyas Iyer goes fishing at it, but the ball passes above his angled bat. A successful over for DC and Mukesh. A wicket and just 6 runs from it.

 FIFTY FOR PRIYANSH ARYA! Off just 24 balls, and this is his 5th IPL half century. His 3rd fifty this season as well. A glittering innings so far from the youngster. On a good length, on leg, Arya works it off the back foot to the wide mid on region for a single to complete his milestone. He has been aggressive, but has looked in complete control of his shots.

 SIX! Splendid stroke! Mukesh goes fuller, wide outside off. Priyansh Arya with a free-flowing batswing, lofts it elegantly over deep cover for another half a dozen runs. That's Arya's sixth six of the game already.
