OUT! MISTIMED IN THE AIR AND CAUGHT! Is there another twist left in this game? Superb catch under pressure by the sub fielder, Praveen Dubey. Short and wide outside off, a well-directed bouncer hitting a good height. Ashutosh shuffles across the stumps, takes it on with the pull but doesn't quite get hold of it. Ends up top edging it to wide long on. Praveen Dubey covers a lot of ground to his right and pulls off a fantastic running catch. Delhi Capitals are 205/7, needing 6 runs from 7 balls.

NO BALL, FOUR! Oh, dear! That's a very poor delivery and that should be the game for DC as they are almost there. Glum faces in the Punjab Kings' dugout. Yash slips in a high full toss, above the waist height on the leg stump line. Auqib Nabi swivels and pulls it on the bounce to the deep backward square leg fence for a boundary. SCORES ARE LEVEL!

The Capitals keep themselves very much alive in the season, and this is the fourth straight loss for the Punjab Kings.

With no fielder there, Stoinis himself gets across and picks the ball. Throws it to the bowling end, but misses his shy and instead, the ball hits Ashutosh's leg, who scoots through.

 SIX! Just enough bat on it! Into the slot, a real hit-me ball by Marcus, on middle and with pace taken off as well. Madhav creates room by getting the front leg out of the way and swings across the line. Suryansh Shedge at deep square leg leaps but the ball clears him and drops beyond the fence.

Nearly dragged on! On a length on leg. Madhav makes some room by stepping away and swings hard across the line, getting a thick inside edge that runs away past the leg stump to the fine leg region. Tiwari keeps the strike with a single.

 SIX! It's Killer Miller time! He has made that shot look so easy. Back of a length, a slower leg cutter, outside off. David Miller stands tall, waits for it and swats it flatly over the long off fence for a six.

 SIX MORE! FIFTY FOR DAVID MILLER! From just 27 balls and he has kept the Capitals very much alive in this contest. This is Miller's 14th IPL half-century to go along with a century. Half volley, at pace, outside off. Ashutosh Sharma positions himself to clobber it covers, but gets a thick outside edge. The ball flies over the ring and Yuzvendra Chahal runs to his right from deep third. Extends his right hand out while diving to palm the ball back in, but fails to prevent the boundary. Chahal holds his left shoulder and looks in a bit of pain out there as he lands hard on it. A massive over for the Capitals as 15 runs come off it.

FOUR! Aerial but in the gap! Stoinis bends his back and digs it in short, on middle and leg. Axar is cramped for room and even though the ball comes off the upper half of the blade, he manages to get the pull shot away. Hits it to the left of the deep mid-wicket fielder and picks up a boundary.

 FOUR! FIFTY FOR AXAR PATEL! He has been frustratingly short of runs this season, and this will give a lot of confidence in that DC camp. His 4th IPL fifty. And it has come at a time when his team needs the most. A muted celebration from the skipper as he knows the job is far from being done. Stoinis misses his length on the shorter side. Axar clears his front leg and muscles it to the left of long on for a boundary.

OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! Punjab Kings strike back. A relief on the face of Marcus Stoinis on the completion of the catch. Understandable given the catching woes this season for Punjab. It is the slower one, floated up to the batter by Stoinis, around off. Axar collapses his back knee to launch it down the ground. He is early into the stroke and gets the height but not the distance. It goes only as far as long on, where Ben Dwarshuis settles under it but opts to take the catch low to the ground and makes no mistake. DC are 138/5, needing 73 more runs to win.

Nearly chopped it on! Thakur hits the good length, on off. Miller hangs back to deal with it. The ball catches an inside edge before deflecting onto the back pad. It dribbles beside the stumps and Axar calls David through for a quick single.

Dug in short, across off. Axar Patel shuffles a long way across the stumps for the scoop but fails to connect.

Good effort! Thakur bashes the hard length, over off. Axar waits on the back foot and runs it down to deep third with an open bat face. The ball skips across the damp outfield, but Ben Dwarshuis runs to his left and dives to save the boundary. A couple of runs for Patel.

FIVE WIDES! Too much for Prabhsimran Singh to do. Bonus runs for the Capitals. Yash Thakur comes up with the bouncer, over middle. Axar charges down the track but watches the ball sail over his head. Full and slanted down the leg stump line. Miller misses the flick and the ball grazes the front pad on its way to the keeper. Prabhsimran Singh moves quickly to his right and grabs it.

On a back of a length, outside off. Miller punches off the back foot to deep backward point. Suryansh Shedge slides to his right and slips a bit, due to the damp outfield, but manages to stop the ball. Just a single.

 FOUR! A loose ball and it gets the treatment! Jansen slips one down leg, full in length. Axar gets across and tickles it to the deep fine leg fence for a boundary. He moves to 30 off 15 balls.

Hard length, on top of middle. Axar is cramped up for room, but he camps back and chop-cuts it to the backward point region for a run.

Oh, this one kicks up a bit from the pitch. On a good length, outside off. David Miller is taken aback by the extra bounce, but manages to control his back foot punch along the ground to deep cover. They cross. At halfway, DC are 87/4.

Pitched fuller, on middle and leg. Stubbs gets the front foot out of the way and lofts it over mid on. Arshdeep Singh comes charging across to his left from long on and collects it on the bounce while running. Just a single.

OUT! TRISTAN STUBBS IS RUN OUT! A complete miscommunication between the two batters and Stubbs pays the price for it. Aimed at the stumps and it nips in a touch on a length. Axar tries to block it down the pitch, but gets a thick inside edge and the ball rolls off his pads towards backward point. Stubbs wants the single and is through, but Axar is going nowhere and hence, Tristan is forced to retreat. Cooper Connolly from backward point moves swiftly and sees Stubbs more than halfway, struggling to make it back, and scores a direct hit at the bowling end. Stubbs puts in a dive but is found well short. Stubbs is absolutely fuming as this partnership was building nicely for the Capitals. DC are 74/4.

 DROPPED! Shedge shells a tough chance, but a chance nonetheless. Ponting has a wry smile in the PBKS dugout as this is the second chance gone down in the field. Full at the pads. Axar flicks it towards deep square leg, where the fielder, Suryansh Shedge, runs in from the ropes to his right, and dives forward, but cannot hold on. Single taken.

Arshdeep comes running in from long on and gets his hands out in front but the ball clips his fingertips and drops down. He was on the move when the ball got to him but that should have been taken. Two Wides! Oh dear! Good length sprayed down leg. Axar leaves it. Prabhsimran moves to his right and dives but cannot collect it cleanly, parrying it away to fine leg. Wide signaled. They cross for a bye.

WIDE! Misses his radar and sprays it down the leg stump line. Patel misses to help it behind. Prabhsimran Singh moves to his right and collects the ball.

 SIX! That sounded so sweet off the bat! Slightly fuller, on off, Axar Patel advances down the track and launches it handsomely over long on for a cracking six.

FOUR! Off the edge! Arshdeep continues to push the ball across the right-hander, on a nagging length. Rahul looks to go down the ground as he swings through the line. Gets an outside edge and the ball sails over the leaping Marco Jansen at slip before going into the fence.

OUT! CAUGHT! Marco Jansen holds onto it. Arshdeep Singh strikes now, and DC have been dealt a big blow. Hits the back of a length, on middle and leg. Rahul presses back and swivels a bit to play more of a jab rather than the pull. The ball stands up on the batter and a top edge is found. It goes high in the air towards the deep fine leg region. The man in the deep is a bit square and hence, the keeper, Prabhsimran Singh and Marco Jansen from slip go after it.
