WIDE! Ayodhya pitches it much fuller, but sprays it away from the tramline outside off. Ghosh makes a leave at it. 

SIX! BANG! On a back of a length, well outside off. Richa Ghosh shuffles across and swats it across, over the deep square leg for half a dozen.

WIDE! Mithali Ayodhya sees the batter shuffle yet again, so she tries to keep it away from the batter's arc but ends up drifting beyond the tramline.

On a nagging length, outside off, Richa Ghosh has a big heave across the line, but the ball catches the inside edge and the batter wears it on the pad.

SIX! HAMMERED AWAY! Pitches it up, closer to the off stump. Richa Ghosh walks across and powers it over deep mid-wicket for six more runs. India move to 205, and this is now the highest score in the history of Women's cricket in the Asian Games.

FIVE WIDES! Free runs for India now. Mithali Ayodhya switches to around the wicket. Serving it much fuller, but down the leg side. Richa Ghosh misses on her flick, and it beats the keeper as well to race away for a boundary.

Run out chance missed! Change of pace from Mithali Ayodhya, on the shorter side, outside off. Fulmali misjudges the bounce, missing her pull shot as it carries through to the keeper. Richa spots the opportunity and calls for a quick single.

A flash and a miss! On a back of a length, outside off. Ghosh throws her hands at the ball but is beaten for pace.

FOUR! Untidy in the field. Fuller and on off. Ghosh reaches across and powers it away wide of long off. Kavisha Dilhari moves to her left and gets on her knees but lets it through and concedes a boundary.

Wide! That is a bit harsh. Kawya spots Ghosh make the move and she pushes it away from the batter. Ghosh fiddles at the ball and is beaten past the outside edge.

FOUR! In the gap. Full in length, outside off. Ghosh knows that mid-wicket is up inside the circle. She drags it away past the diving mid-wicket fielder to her left. The long on fielder goes after it but cannot prevent the boundary.

SIX! Clean as a whistle. Kavindi gets her length wrong, as this is right in the slot, on off. Ghosh collapes her back knee and clobbers it away beyond the deep mid-wicket fence.

OUT! CAUGHT! That is the wicket that the Lankans were hunting for a long time. A bit quicker this time from Kumari, fuller, around the pads of the left-hander. Smriti Mandhana bends her back leg and looks to heave it across, but ends up hitting it from the upper part of the bat. The ball loops toward deep backward square leg, where Kavisha Dilhari makes no mistake in catching it.  

Fired across the right-hander, on a good length. Fulmali looks to glide it behind point with an open bat face but fails to make any connection.

Just a shade behind the fuller length, around off. Richa Ghosh chops it to backward point.

FOUR! This time, Ghosh picks the gap. Praboda drags her length back slightly, just outside off. Richa Ghosh yet again hangs back and cuts it towards the right of the backward point fielder for four runs. 

FOUR! No need to run for that. Short again, outside off. Richa Ghosh stays on her back foot and slaps it wide of the cover fielder for four more runs. The 150 is up for India.

SIX! Excellent use of the feet. Just behind the full length, around middle, giving it a bit of flight. Smriti Mandhana charges down the track and smashes it downtown for a biggie.

Fires it in full, on middle and leg. Mandhana gets the front leg out of the way and smears it to deep mid-wicket for a run.

Loopy ball, outside off. Kaur fails to squeeze it out.

FOUR! Up and over! Hangs it up there again, does Dilhari, a bit too full and outside off. Kaur gets her hands through the line of the ball and slams it over extra cover. One bounce and over the ropes.

OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! Kavisha Dilhari answers right back. Harmanpreet Kaur falls without much of an impact. This is looped up again by Dilhari, but she pushes it wider on off. Kaur collapses her back knee and swings at it but the ball spins away, and Kaur ends up slicing it high in the air towards long off. Chamari Athapaththu settles under it and takes the catch close to her chest. India Women are 141/2.

SIX! Powered away! On a back of a length, this just sits up to be hit, on middle and leg. Mandhana gets the front leg out of the way and connects with the pull cleanly. Hits it to the left of the deep mid-wicket fielder for a flat six.

FOUR! Through the gap! On the shorter side, outside off. Kaur walks across the stumps to get closer to the line of the ball and rides the bounce to cut it wide of the diving backward point fielder for a boundary.

Full and fired in, on middle. Kaur attempts the sweep but gets an inside edge and it goes behind square leg for a run.

FOUR! A loose ball and it gets the treatment. Low full toss, on the pads. Mandhana cashes in as she just angles the sweep wide of the short fine leg fielder for a four.

Oh, that could have gone anywhere! Tossed up, fuller, around the leg stump. Smriti Mandhana crouches down on one knee and looks to sweep it away, but gets the top edge before it loops over the keeper. The short fine leg fielder cuts it to a double.

Short, around the pads of the batter. Smriti Mandhana rocks back and mistimes her pull to deep square leg. There is a fielder in the deep who charges forward and offers a dive, but unfortunately the ball drops short of her. Single taken.   

Fuller, around leg, Harmanpreet Kaur sweeps it to short fine leg.

Shorter again, on off. Harmanpreet Kaur stabs it to cover.

Drags her length back, does Praboda, on middle and leg. Harmanpreet Kaur clips it to deep square leg and gets a single. 

Short, around off, Smriti Mandhana punches it to cover for one. With that, India's 100 comes up.

FOUR! Easy pickings. Too full and it is down leg. Mandhana gets down on a knee and brings out the sweep. She plays it behind square leg and the fielder in the deep is beaten to her left.

FIFTY FOR SMRITI! A very crucial knock from the Indian southpaw to set the tone of the final for India. Shortish, around middle, Smriti Mandhana pulls it deep to mid-wicket and gets across for a single to reach her half-century.

Verma just gets lucky here! Beautifully tossed up around off, and turning away sharply. Shafali reaches forward to push at it and is completely outfoxed. She loses her balance and overbalances outside the crease. The keeper whips the bails off in a flash, but Shafali just manages to slide that back foot inside the line in the nick of time. 

OUT! TAKEN! Second time's the charm for Chamudi Praboda. Flighted off-break landing just outside off. Shafali tries to improvise as he attempts a reverse sweep over backward point. But she can only manage a high top-edge. Kawya Kavindi tracks it smartly from short third, moves to her right, and pouches it securely.

Short and on middle and leg. Mandhana tucks it off the back foot to deep mid-wicket for one.

Slightly shorter, on off. Shafali slices it to cover-point.

Quicker through the air and the length stays short, on middle. Shafali taps it to cover.

SIX! High and handsome! Looped up by Kavisha, it is the leg-break, on off. Verma springs onto the front foot and holds her shape before tonking it over long off for a biggie.

Correction by Dilhari, this is dropped short, on middle. Verma pulls it through mid-wicket for one.

Full and at the sticks. Mandhana pushes out in front of her body with a straight bat. It goes off the outer half towards short third.

Tosses it up, on off. Shafali leans across and knocks it through covers for a single.

Shorter now, on middle. Mandhana has ample time to rock back. She punches it away but can't beat the extra cover fielder.

Hangs it up, does Chamudi, on a length, on middle. Mandhana advances down the track and has a heave across the line. She does not reach the pitch of the ball and miscues it off the inner half to deep square leg. They cross.

Flighted up, on off. Shafali shimmies down the track and cracks the drive wide of long off. The deep extra cover fielder runs to her right and dives to mop it up. Two taken.

FOUR! Gets it through! Not the best of balls, with no protection in the deep on the off side. Short and wide, there to be put away. Verma hops back and slaps it past the diving cover-point fielder.

Floated up, on off. Shafali lunges across and powers it to wide long off for a single.

Very full, on middle and leg. Mandhana wrists it in front of square on the leg side and crosses over.

Stays on the fuller side, on middle. Shafali makes room and drills it wide of cover for another single.

FOUR! Oh, deft touch from Verma! Back of a length, just outside off. Shafali Verma hangs back, waits for the delivery to arrive and opens the face of the bat to steer it into the gap between backward point and short third for a boundary.

Good length, around off, Shafali Verma stabs it to cover for one.

Short of a length, outside off, Smriti Mandhana drags her pull to the right of the mid on fielder and gets a quick single.

Bashes hard onto the deck, does Kavindi, outside off. Shafali Verma bunts it to point.

Huge appeal for LBW, but that dies down quickly. Short, pitching on middle and turning back to the right-hander. Shafali Verma misses her clip and wears on the pad.

SIX! KABOOM! Drags the length back again, does Athapaththu, on middle. Shafali Verma gets enough time to open her stance and pull it hard over deep square leg for a massive six. 

SIX! Shafali Verma is on fire! Tossed up, fuller, outside off. Shafali Verma springs onto the front foot and launches it over long off for half a dozen. India go past 50.

SIX! High and long enough. Short of a length, on middle and leg. Smriti Mandhana skips down the track, and even though she does not get to the pitch of the ball, she swings through the line. It is skied downtown. Sugandika Kumari is in with a chance and, at best, she can push the ball away and save a six. However, rather than running along the fence from long on, she runs in before moving sideways, leaving herself with no chance of making an effort. Chamari Athapaththu is not pleased one bit. 19 runs off the over.

FOUR! Not entirely from the middle of the bat, but it will work for Verma. Pitches it fuller, does Ayodhya, just outside off. Shafali Verma looks to punch it from her front foot toward cover, but gets the connection from the outer half of the bat, and it goes through the gap between backward point and short third for four runs.

SIX! Up, up and over! Full in length, yet again, around the fifth stump. Smriti Mandhana skips down the track, extends her arms and slams it over deep cover for a biggie.

Angled in on a good length, on middle and leg. Verma shimmies down the track and taps it to long on for a single.

On the shorter side, going across the batter. Mandhana makes use of the angle as she cuts it late but can't get it past backward point.

SIX! All the way! Kumari drops it short, outside off. Mandhana uses the depth of the crease and flat bats it down the ground. She does not quite get hold of it and gets it more off the lower half of the blade, but clears the fence comfortably.

SIX! Picked up and how! Fired in at the pads, fuller in length. Mandhana crouches and brings her wrists into play to play the pick-up shot behind square leg for half a dozen.

Drags the length back now, on off. Mandhana pushes it to extra cover, where it is intercepted by the fielder low to her left.

Spears in a full ball, on middle. Mandhana digs it out back to the bowler. 13 runs off the over.

Not much movement through the air as this just slides onto the pads, on a good length. Verma tucks it to mid-wicket.

A hint of away shape, on a good length, around off. Verma leans on and plays the drive on the up to the left of the fielder at deep point for a brace.

This is fuller, outside off. Verma reaches across and plays a punchy drive to deep cover. They cross.

Good effort in the field. Ayodhya goes wide on the crease on the around-the-wicket angle and pushes the length up, on off. Mandhana knocks it towards cover, where Harshitha Samarawickrama gets low to her left to make a sharp stop.

Slightly shorter, on off. Smriti stands tall on top of the bounce and punches it straight to extra cover.

Very full and it tails back in towards the right boot of the left-hander. Smriti's head falls over to the off side as she works it to mid on. A tidy first over by Mithali Ayodhya.

Verma and India are away. Darted in from around the wicket, flat and short, on off. Shafali presses back and punches it to long on for a single.

Stays around the wicket for the left-hander, and this is pushed across off. Mandhana taps it to cover.

Beaten! The length is dragged back and pushed across off again. Smriti attempts the cut but is beaten past the outside edge.

FOUR! Threads it through! This is not all that short but Mandhana gets the width to work with. She rocks back and cuts it between point and cover-point for the first boundary of the contest.

FOUR! Rinse and repeat of the previous ball. Dropped short by Kumari, and she offers width again. Mandhana lets the ball come on and gets on top of the bounce before cutting it past point for four more.
