Southee comes from around the wicket and serves a slower length ball, angling into middle. Obed McCoy backs away and swings across the line but is well beaten.

Just short and great adjustment in the deep from Glenn Phillips to save the boundary. Short of a length and over middle, McCoy pulls it hard and flat to the right of the man at deep mid-wicket. Phillips comes in and then has to quickly switch to his right to keep it out. Two taken.

In the air, dropped! Slower delivery, on a length and around off. Obed McCoy mistimes the lofted shot and the ball goes over mid off. James Neesham runs back from the cover region and gets there but ends up spilling it. Single taken.

Banged in short and at the body, Hayden Walsh gives the charge and pulls it towards mid-wicket for one.

Back of a length, this is struck down to long off for a single.

SIX! Hayden Walsh ends the Windies innings in style but they have fallen well short here. Full and on the pads, Walsh whips it away over the mid-wicket fence for a maximum. New Zealand win by 90 runs!

This is short and around leg, Walsh pulls it down to deep mid-wicket and rotates the strike.

On a nagging length, sliding it across the left-hander, McCoy goes on the back foot and eases it out on the off side.

FOUR! Nicely struck and the 100 comes up for West Indies. Fuller and around middle and leg, McCoy gets down on one knee and slogs it away in between long on and deep mid-wicket for a one-bounce boundary.

SIX! MUSCLED! Shorter this time from Sodhi, around middle, McCoy hangs deep and pulls it hard and flat over wide long on for a biggie.

WIDE! Sodhi tries to push it wider but spills it beyond the tramline outside off, wide called.

FOUR LEG BYES! This is poor bowling from Ish Sodhi. Floated up down the leg side and turning further down, McCoy misses the sweep and the ball eludes the keeper, running away into the fine leg fence.

Quicker one, on leg stump, this is pulled away in front of mid-wicket for just a single.

Boult goes full and attacks the pads, Walsh flicks it away towards fine leg for a single.

Length ball, angling into leg stump, McCoy stands tall and looks to go downtown but gets a big inside edge onto the pads.

FOUR! Full and around off, Obed McCoy drives through the line of the ball and creams it past the diving extra cover fielder for a boundary.

Nice change from Boult. The slower bumper now, around off, McCoy steps out and looks to take it on but is comprehensively beaten.

Very full and on middle, hit straight to the man at mid off.

Very full again and angling at the toes, McCoy backs away and the ball goes between his legs towards the keeper.

OUT! CAUGHT! Tim Southee gets on the wickets column as West Indies are a wicket away from getting bundled out. This is pitched up on leg stump and the pace is taken off the ball by Southee. Odean Smith backs away and tries to lift it over the mid-wicket fence but gets no timing on it. The ball goes high and towards deep mid-wicket. Glenn Phillips settles under it and takes it a couple of inches off the ground. 

Good length, outside off and left alone by Hayden Walsh.

A touch fuller and closer to the off pole, Walsh has a dab at it but gets beaten past the outside edge.

Fuller and around off, Walsh opens the face of the bat and drives it towards short third man.

Full again, angling into middle and leg. Hayden Walsh backs away and taps it towards mid off for a quick single.

FOUR! Edged away! Southee keeps it full and close to the off pole, Obed McCoy looks to drive but gets an outside edge. The ball rolls along the ground and runs away into the third man fence.

Flatter delivery on off, this is played off the back foot and through mid off for a run.

Swung hard but just for a single. This is quicker and angling into leg stump, Smith ships it away towards deep mid-wicket for one.

OUT! TAKEN! Kane Williamson takes a steepler and West Indies lose their eighth wicket. This is tossed up from Mitchell Santner, around off and just allowing it to turn away. Romario Shepherd tries to slog it away but gets a top edge that goes high and over the cover region. Kane Williamson from extra cover paddles back and takes a tumbling catch over his shoulders. Santner gets his third and New Zealand inching closer to victory.

SIX! Flighted delivery, around off, Odean Smith just frees his arms and lofts it inside-out over the wide long off fence or a maximum.

Quicker and flatter, at the stumps, blocked out.

Flatter again, this is tapped away towards point for a run.

Boult comes back into the attack and starts off the new spell with a full and straight one. Shepherd drives it through wide mid on and thinks about two but settles for the single.

Full and straight again, just eased back towards the bowler.

Boult switches to around the wicket and bowls it on a good length, outside off. Odean Smith taps it towards point.

This is banged in short and over middle, Smith pulls it down to deep mid-wicket for just a single.

Top delivery! Boult goes back to bowling over the wicket and nails the yorker on off stump. Romario Shepherd does well to get some bat on it.

This is very full and at the toes, Shepherd flicks it away to deep square leg for a single.

SIX! Easy power from Romario Shepherd! Flighted, around off and turning away, Shepherd stands tall and hits it with the turn, smoking it a long way over the wide long off fence.

Quicker and flatter, around middle and leg, Shepherd looks to flick off the back foot but misses and gets hit on the pads.

Drops it a bit short now but Shepherd mistimes the lofted pull shot over mid-wicket and collects a single.

Nicely bowled! This is flighted, full and around off, Powell looks to slog sweep but pulls out at the last moment.

FOUR! Loops it up, full and wide, driven powerfully all along the ground and through extra cover for a boundary.

OUT! LBW! Ish Sodhi comes back strongly after getting hit for a couple of boundaries in the over and picks up his first wicket of the game. This is on a length and off, it is the wrong 'un. Rovman Powell tries to defend it off the front foot but misses and gets pinged on the pads. There is a huge appeal for LBW and it is given. Rovman Powell though reviews it straightaway. UltraEdge shows that no bat is invloved and Ball Tracking shows that the ball is hitting the top of middle stump. Powell has to walk back.

Southee starts off the new spell with a length ball, around middle and leg. This is pushed away to the right of the bowler for a single.

SIX! Just helped on its away. This is short and down the leg side, Rovman Powell uses the pace of the ball and pulls it over the fine leg fence for a maximum.

Good length, around middle, this is worked away through mid-wicket for a run.

DROPPED! A difficult chance but Trent Boult completely misses it in the end. Length ball, around middle, Romario Shepherd looks to launch it over the mid-wicket fence but gets a top edge. The ball goes a long way up and is swirling around the third man region. Trent Boult over there runs towards it but misjudges it. The batters get a couple of runs.

Length again, around off and punched out on the off side.

Brilliant effort in the dep but lands just short. This is back of a length and angling into the body. Shepherd pulls it hard and flat towards deep square leg. Michael Bracewell comes in and puts in the dive but the ball lands just short and the batters get a run.

On a length and on middle and leg, Shepherd goes deep in his crease to push it towards long on for a run.

Slower and shorter, outside off and turning away, Powell reaches out and gets an inside edge past leg stump for another single.

A tad shorter and this is played off the back foot towards backward square leg for a single.

On a nagging length this time, around off, Powell eases it towards cover-point.

Around off, pushed away towards cover.

Flatter delivery on off, Rovman Powell keeps it out on the leg side off the back foot.

This is on a good length and angling in from outside off, Rovman Powell dabs it down to third man for a single.

Length again, around the top of off, Shepherd nudges it towards mid-wicket for a quick run.

WIDE! An attempted slower delivery, spilled well down the leg side. Wided.

FOUR! Wrong line from Boult and Rovman Powell punishes him. This is banged in short and over leg stump, Powell muscles it over short fine leg and finds the fence.

A low full toss, outside off, Powell can only manage to loft it over the jumping extra cover fielder for a single.

A good bumper now, bowled at a good pace and around off. Romario Shepherd just sways his head away from the line of the ball.

Length now, around off, Shepherd looks to cut from too close to the body and chops it towards cover for one more.

Full and straight, driven through wide mid on for a single.

Powell tries to use his feet but Bracewell sees him coming and pulls back the length. Powell keeps it out off his pads.

Flatter delivery, on off, this is worked away off the back foot through mid-wicket for a run.

OUT! CAUGHT! Martin Guptill with a very well-taken catch and West Indies lose their sixth wicket! A tad shorter from Michael Bracewell, around middle and Jason Holder goes after it. Holder tries to lift it over long on but only manage to get the height, not the ditance. The ball is skied up around the mid on region and three fielders converge towards it. Martin Guptill comes in from long on and calls it before safely puching it. Michael Bracewell picks up his third wicket.

Quicker and on middle, this is pushed down to long on for a single.

At the stumps, Romario Shepherd blocks it out. Michael Bracewell ends his spell with figures of, 4-1-15-3!

SIX! Sodhi drops it a bit short and Jason Holder latches onto it in a flash. Holder pulls it a long way over the mid-wicket fence for a biggie.

This is the wrong 'un, turning in from around off. Rovman Powell tries to get inside the line of the ball and paddles it towards short fine leg for a single. There is an appeal for LBW from the bowler but it is turned down. Kane Williamson does review it after a bit of thought. The third umpire checks the UltraEdge first and there is indeed a slight under edge on it. The on-field decision of NOT OUT will stay.

Tossed up, around off and stroked away through covers for just another single.

Around off again, Powell pushes it towards cover and looks for the single but Holder says no.

Nicely flighted, full and around off, Rovman Powell fails to get it away.

Quicker delivery, on off stump and just sliding on with the arm. Shimron Hetmyer shows quick hands as he manages to tap it towards point.

SIX! This is shorter and around middle, Shimron Hetmyer uses the depth of the crease and pulls it well in front of mid-wicket for a flat six.

Nicely tossed up, around off and driven straight towards cover.

OUT! RUN OUT! An outstanding piece of fielding from Kane Williamson and West Indies lose yet another wicket. Around off, Shimron Hetmyer just bunts it out towards cover and tries to steal a single. Williamson runs to his right from extra cover and throws it at the bowler's end while falling over. Williamson gets in the direct hit and the replays show that Hetmyer is well short of his crease. New Zealand is total command here.

BEATEN! On a length and close to the off stump, this one justn goes straight on and beats the outside edge of Holder's bat.

On middle, driven through mid on for a single.

Sodhi starts off his spell with a shortish delivery, Hetmyer though can't get it away.

Here comes the wrong 'un, around off and turning away, Hetmyer does well to push it out on the off side.

A tad shorter and around leg stump, Shimron Hetmyer goes on the back foot and flicks it towards fine leg for a single.

Flatter delivery, around off, Holder goes back in his crease and just dabs it behind point for one more.

On the pads, this is just worked away through square leg for a single.

On off stump, Holder blocks it out.

FOUR! That will ease the nerves for Shimron Hetmyer a bit. Short and wide, Hetmyer goes back and across before slapping it away through cover-point for a much-needed boundary.

Full and around middle, Hetmyer flicks it uppishly towards mid-wicket. Sharp work from Mitchell Santner over there.

Some turn now! This is a bit shorter and around off, Hetmyer looks to pull off the back foot but the ball turns away and gets the toe end of the bat.

Misfield and a single is taken. This is flatter, outside off and cut away straight towards point. The fielder over there fumbles and the batters get a run.

Quicker and shorter, down the leg side, Thomas pulls it fine but finds the fielder at short fine leg.

OUT! LBW! Devon Thomas has been pinged on the pads and in front of the stumps and has to walk back. Thomas pre-meditates and tries shuffle across the off stump. Michael Bracewell sees this and fires it in on a length and around middle. Thomas misses the paddle and gets cramped for room. The ball goes on to hit the pads. There is a loud appeal and the finger is raised. Thomas has a word with his partner but then just walks back.

Floated up, around off and Thomas just eases it towards cover.

Flatter this time from Santner, around off, Thomas stays back and taps it towards backward point.

On a length, on off, Devon Thomas wrists it towards mid-wicket.

BEGTEN! Flighted delivery, nicely looped up outside off, drawing the batter forward. Thomas looks to block but gets beaten past the outside edge.

Thomas is finally able to get off the mark! This is sliding onto the pads, Thomas goes deep in his crease and flicks it behind square on the leg side for a single.

On middle and leg, worked away in front of mid-wicket for one.

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Michael Bracewell now comes into the attack and strikes first ball too! New Zealand just ripping through the Windies' batting order here. Bracewell starts off with a bit of a long hop, well outside off and Nicholas Pooran goes chasing after it. pooran gets an under edge on it and it is a very sharp take from the wicket-keeper Devon Conway behind the sticks. The skipper departs early too and West Indies really struggling here.

Quicker and flatter, outside off, Hetmyer looks to cut but misses.

Flatter again and outside off, Hetmyer punches it towards cover.

Fired in on middle and leg, Shimron Hetmyer nudges it leg side.

Around off, pushed towards covers but can't find the gap.

A wicket-maiden! This is flatter and around off, Hetmyer hangs back and taps it towards short third man.

OUT! CLEANED HIM UP! Just like in the last game, Mitchell Santner strikes first ball! This is on a nagging length and around off, Shamarh Brooks backs away and gets down low. Brooks has a wild swing across the line but misses the line off the ball. The ball just slides on and goes on to crash into the off pole. Brooks departs early and West Indies on the back foot very early in the innings.

Santner switches to over the wicket and slows it up, on a length, turning it into off stump. Pooran looks to work it leg side but gets an inside edge onto the pads.

Slower again and around off, kept out by Pooran.

A tad shorter and on the pads, Nicholas Pooran works it 'round the corner and gets off the mark with a single.

OUT! TAKEN! Glenn Phillips takes a brilliant outfield catch and Mitchell Santner strikes twice in his first over. This is shorter and angled onto middle, Kyle Mayers rocks back and pulls it away. Mayers hits it flat and in front of mid-wicket. Phillips comes racing in from the deep and dives forward to grab it both hands just before the ball touches the ground. Mayers departs for a low score and West Indies in a spot of bother here.

Flighted, around off and kept out by Thomas. End of an excellent first over by Santner, just one run and two wickets off it.

Southee starts off with a good-length delivery, angling it into the body. Shamarh Brooks hangs back and looks to work it leg side but misses and gets hit on the body.

This is angled onto the pads, Brooks clips it away past square leg for a couple of runs and he too is off the mark.

FOUR! Dismissive from Brooks. Length ball, on off, Brooks stands tall and just lifts it back over the bowler's head. The ball almost goes the distance but pitches in front of the ropes.

Excellent running! Around the top of off, just pushed towards mid on for a quick single.

Southee pushes this one wider and bowls it a touch fuller, Kyle Mayers goes after it but gets no connection whatsoever.

Switches to around the wicket for the finally delivery and angles in a length ball into middle. Mayers looks to hang back and nudge it leg side but misses and gets hit high on the pads.

Boult starts off with a length ball outside off, trying to swing it away. Kyle Mayers stays put and looks to drive but gets an under edge towards the keeper.

Length again and there's some width on offer too as Boult falls over in the follow-through. Mayers though hits it straight towards cover.

Swing and a miss! Good length, close to the off pole. Once again there's no feet movement from Mayers as he tries to hit through the line of the ball but misses.

Excellent delivery from Boult and equally well played. This is a yorker, on middle and Mayers does well to keep it out.

FOUR! Up and over! Kyle Mayers gets his innings underway with a boundary. Length again from Boult, a touch fuller and outside off. Mayers drives it over extra cover and picks up the boundary. West Indies are off the mark with that as well.

A bit shorter and around the hips, Mayers pulls it straight to the man at short fine leg.
