FOUR! The runs are piling thick and fast. Short of a length, angling in, around the batter's lane. Kusal Mendis swivels on his back foot and just tries to flick it, but gets the connection off the glove. However, the ball races away to deep fine leg for four runs.

Huge appeal for LBW, but the umpire shakes his head. However, after a very long discussion, Shai Hope opts for the review at the very last second. Much fuller, pitching it just outside off and angling in. Pathum Nissanka prods halfway and tries to defend it to the leg side, but misses and wears on the pad. The replay shows that the ball clearly hits the inside edge and thumps on the front pad of the batter. Windies lose their first review.

OUT! TAKEN! Sri Lanka lose their first wicket, and it's Jayden Seales who finds the breakthrough. The short-ball plan has worked for the Windies. Seales yet again bashes it hard on the length to generate some bounce off the track, angling in, around middle. Kamindu Mendis looks to heave it away, over mid-wicket, but ends up miscuing it off the top edge. The ball balloons toward the deep fine leg region. However, the backward square leg fielder moves to his left, but the keeper, Shai Hope, calls for it, runs a long way backwards and to his right and pouches the catch excellently.
