Joseph bashes the hard length and angles it in from around the off stump line, Kamindu Mendis solidly blocks it down the pitch.

Immaculate length and line as well. Just outside off, sklidding through, Mendis hangs back and plays it late down towards gully.

Shorter now, wide outside the off stump. This one shapes away a bit and flies through. Kamindu Mendis goes after it but fails to cut it away.

Lovely delivery! Just back of a length, around off, this one threatens to come in but straightens down the line, Mendis ends up playing inside the line.

Pitched up fuller and outside off, Mendis gets halfway forward and pushes the drive to covers.

No ball! Hard length around the fifth stump line, eased away square through the off side for a single. Also, Shamar Joseph has overstepped and will have to re-bowl the final delivery.

Short of a good length, around off, Udara rises up with the bounce and keeps it down on the off side.

Pitched up on a fuller length, attacking the off stump, Udara blocks it off the front foot.

On a hard length now on off, shapes away a wee bit, Udara hops back to defend.

Good length in the corridor of uncertainty, shaping away. Lahiru Udara lets the ball come on and plays it really late and indecisively again, but down to gully.

Nice and full, straighter in line, Udara gets forward and shows the full face of the blade, pushing it towards mid on.

FOUR! Ill-directed from Phillip and he gets punished. Length ball, drifted down leg, Lahiru Udara manages to get inside the line and flicks it fine down to fine leg for a boundary.

Better line from Phillip as this is bowled just outside off stump. Udara leaves it alone.

FOUR! Indecisive from Udara, but he gets away with it. Good-length delivery, slightly outside off. Lahiru Udara is late to get his hands back behind the body and gets the ball off the face of the blade and past gully for a boundary. 100 up for Sri Lanka.

Pitched full and wide outside off, going straight on, left alone.

Hammered in back of a length and over off, Udara blocks it off.

Uppish but in the gap. Pitched up a bit and around off, Lahiru Udara reaches for it and pushes at it tentatively, getting it through the vacant point region for a single.

Shamar comes around the wicket to the left-hander, serving it fuller and in the channel. Kamindu Mendis leaves it alone.

Good length, pushed into middle, straightens down the line. Mendis blocks it off.

EDGED, FOUR! That's a really bad miss. Not that any miss is good, but this is very bad. The bowler is totally frustrated, yelling at his teammates -'You can't be serious!' Seales bends his back and generates extra bounce off the deck, off a length outside off. Lahiru Udara looks to punch but is beaten by the extra bounce. The outside edge is generated and it flies straight to first slip. Or that's what it appeared to be initially. John Campbell gets across to his right for the catch but Justin Greaves gets across to his left from second slip to go for the catch as well. Seeing Greaves, Campbell lets it go but then, Greaves also lets it through! The ball goes exactly between the two slippers and races to the deep third fence! The wait for Seales' 100th Test wicket continues.

At that point, Mendis has taken a couple and wants the third on the throw but changes his mind. The stand is now worth 60 (76).

FOUR! MAIDEN TEST FIFTY FOR UDARA! In just 59 balls. And just in his 4th inning. Great character shown after losing two partners pretty early, always looking to score, working with width and length. Really happy to play balls square on the off side. Coming to this ball, it is a short ball and down the leg side, Udara accepts the gift and sends it to the backward square leg fence. Raises his bat to acknowledge the applause from the Lankan dressing room. Now, the bigger challenge - to carry on and make this big.

FOUR! That's the first run off Seales after 20 deliveries. Of course, there was a big gap of close to an hour between this over and his previous one, but still, for the record. Overpitched, around off, Kamindu Mendis comes forward and drives it straight back past the bowler and then the non-striker, beating mid on with consummate ease.

Good composure shown by both these batters after the early damage. However, the over is not done yet, as the third umpire informs umpire Raza that Seales has overstepped. NO BALL SIGNALLED.

Now, the over is done. Fuller, outside off, KM comes forward and drives, but finds mid off.

Oohhh... nearly an action replay of the Chandimal dismissal. Full and straight, excellent change of length from the bowler, Mendis is caught off guard and flicks it uppishly, but luckily for him, the ball does not carry to the fielder.

Oh dear... tea pots are boiling and Alzarri Joseph is about to explode. On a length, outside off, Mendis drove it towards cover, straight to the fielder but Amir Jangoo, despite getting across to his left, fumbled and let it through. Two runs taken and Alzarri furiously shakes his head.

Full and around off, 131.6 kph, KM comes forward and exhibits a solid defensive technique towards mid off.

A bit too straight, 129.4 kph, Kamindu Mendis gets across to flick but misses. The ball though, goes off his pads behind square leg and the batters take a leg bye.

FOUR! CLOUT! Width offered and Udara needs no second invitation. Short, outside off, Lahiru Udara stands tall and crunches the punch through the gap between cover and point, for his 7th boundary in a score of 44.

Full and straight, Lahiru Udara gets across and works it through mid-wicket towards Keemo Paul at short mid-wicket for a single. Paul is on as a substitute fielder for Jayden Seales, who has probably gone off for a brief rest or shower.

On a length, outside off, Mendis looks to punch it on the up but the ball pitches and then kicks off, beating the outside edge. Good take by the keeper, with Shai Hope leaping to collect that.

Nicely played down the ground but a very good piece of fielding to make it good all-round cricket. Alzarri goes full, around off and middle and Kamindu drives it straight back past the bowler through mid on. But Shamar Joseph hares across to his right from mid on and dives full stretch to stop the ball. Just a single.

Misfield from Keemo Paul. Full and straight, Udara works it straight to Paul at short mid-wicket who takes his eyes off the ball and lets it through. Should have been a dot ball but it results in 3 runs as the fielder has to go all the way to the boundary to stop that.

FOUR! Well played, but a slight release of pressure from the new bowler. A short ball, around off, Lahiru Udara gets outside the line and pull-helps it behind square leg for a boundary. That's 5 in a score of 26.

WEST INDIES LOSE A REVIEW. A good ball though and not a bad call to review. Excellent decision from umpire Paul Reiffel first up. On a good length, outside off, Lahiru Udara stood back in his crease and looked to flick it to the leg side but the ball came back in a long way and beat the bat. He got hit on the pads and that prompted a massive appeal for LBW. Reiffel shook his head and the bowler coaxed Chase into taking the review. Ball Tracking projected it to be bouncing over the top of the stumps.

OUT! CAUGHT! Shamar has 2 and shall we say, both have come off loose deliveries! Just imagine this. You are a batter. That too, from the subcontinent. You get a half volley and that too, on the pads. It is offering you a buffet. Chandimal's eyes light up on seeing that buffet ball and he gets across a touch to flick it away, but dear me, finds the man stationed at short mid-wicket positioned just for that stroke! It is Brandon King once again, who makes no mistake, picking up his second catch of the match as well. Cannot call this an unlucky dismissal. This is no significant contribution from the surface. Chandimal knew that there was a man stationed for an aerial flick, but he did not mind to keep the ball down. Should have done batter. Back to the pavilion now. SRI LANKA ARE 25/2!

There's that exaggerated lateral movement. On a good length, outside off, comes back in a like a banana, Chandimal is made to hop in his crease and actually does well to keep it in front of short leg.

OUT! CAUGHT! Wow, the first wicket does fall early but it is not to a good ball. In fact, it is nothing more than a loosener. Short and wide outside off, there to be hit, Nishan Madushka rocks back and slaps it really hard. But it is straight to point, where Brandon King accepts the gift with glee! The Windies are overjoyed as they cannot believe their luck. Early departure for Madushka and SRI LANKA ARE 15/1!

Massive LBW shout, turned down. Impact well outside off. Full, well outside off, Chandimal gets a good stride in to defend but the ball seams back in a long way and catches him on the pads. However, he does well to get himself outside the line of off stump and that saves him.

On a good length, around off, Lahiru Udara stays back to defend but the ball nips away late, squaring him up. Manages to push it to the off side.

FOUR! Third boundary in 3 overs! Full and straight, Udara flicks it comfortably over mid-wicket and the ball, albeit not racing through, finds its way to the fence, as it does not find any human obstruction.

Full and straight, hint of inswing, Lahiru Udara looks to flick but misses out, getting a thick inside edge onto his pads.

Fuller, outside off, Nishan Madushka stays back, pushes it with soft hands through the covers and scampers through for a run.

Dangerous ploy. Shamar keeps it full and straight but Lahiru, for some reason, chooses to play back to this ball, when he should have been playing forward. The ball pitches and skids through and luckily for the batter, he is able to get his bat down in time to work it to the leg side.

EDGED, FOUR! Fortuitous for the batter. Full and wide outside off, Lahiru Udara throws his bat at it and gets a thick outside edge. The ball flies through the slips, just to the right of the diving right and races to the deep third fence.

Outswing straightaway. Full and outside off, plenty of away shape, Nishan Madushka shoulders arms.

FOUR! Fine shot to get underway. Fractionally short of a length, outside off, Madushka goes back and punches it through the covers, to get off the mark in style.

The length is corrected, getting it fuller, outside off, Nishan defends on the front foot.
