About Prashant Solanki
Prashant Solanki is a right-arm leg-break bowler hailing from Mumbai. He was born on February 22, 2000 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He is a state-level cricket player representing the Mumbai team in state-level cricket competitions. Solanki commenced his professional career with Mumbai during the 2021-22 season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, where he caught the attention of spectators with his bowling prowess. In his debut match, he achieved a notable five-wicket haul. Subsequently, he earned a spot in the Mumbai squad for the 2021-22 season of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where he once again showcased his impressive skills and techniques. He made his First-Class debut in the year 2022, in the match between Goa and Mumbai in Ahmedabad. As of now, he has only played one First-Class match. He soon attracted a couple of franchises in the INDIAN T20 LEAGUE with his performances. Starting with a base price of 20 lakhs, both Rajasthan and Chennai engaged in intense bidding for the young player. Ultimately, CHENNAI secured him for INR 1.20 crore back in the 2023 edition and he was also selected again in the same franchise recently for the 2024 season.
