Shapoor Zadran is a left-arm fast-medium bowler and a left-handed batsman who made his first-class debut for Afghanistan against Zimbabwe XI in 2009.
Zadran was a part of the Afghanistan team that was promoted to Division Two after a rapid rise in stature. Thus, Afghanistan played in the 2009 ICC World Cup Qualifier and hence gained the ODI status. Zadran's One Day International debut came against Netherlands during Afghanistan's tour of Netherlands where he took 4/24 in his 10 overs. He was a member of Afghanistan's 2009 ACC Twenty Cup winning squad. His Twenty20I debut came against Ireland in the 2010 Quadrangular Twenty Series in Sri Lanka. Zadran was later included in the Afghanistan's squad for the 2010 ICC World Twenty.
