Sushma Verma is an Indian wicketkeeper who started her national career in 2014. She was born on November 3, 1992 and was the first cricketer from Himachal Pradesh, male or female, to represent India at international level.
The keeper was a part of the Mithali Raj-led Indian squad that finished Women’s World Cup 2017 as runners-up. Her 33-run knock batting at No. 7 in the World Cup game against arch-rivals Pakistan was praised by many. She is known for her Dhoni-esque lightning fast stumpings & finishing abilities batting down the order.
