The series between India and West Indies is slated to start from December 15

The Indian women's cricket team will be busy in the upcoming months, hosting both West Indies and Ireland for white-ball series. Meanwhile, BCCI has announced India's schedule for the upcoming white-ball series against West Indies and Ireland. In December, they'll face West Indies in a three-match ODI series at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai and a three-match T20I series in Baroda. This will be India's first T20I series since their early exit from the T20 World Cup last month.

Following the West Indies series, India will host Ireland for three ODIs in Rajkot. Both ODI series are part of the ICC Women's Championship. It's worth noting that the first T20I against West Indies, scheduled for December 15, comes just four days after India's final ODI against Australia.

The Women in Blue will play two T20Is against West Indies on the 17 and 19. They will then travel to Baroda for a three-match ODI series, scheduled for the 22, 24, and 27 of December.

India's journey in the Women's T20 World Cup was a mixed bag. After a disappointing loss to New Zealand, they bounced back with victories over Pakistan and Sri Lanka. However, a crucial defeat to Australia eliminated them from the semi-finals.

On the other hand, India started their home series against New Zealand strongly. They secured a convincing 59-run win in the first match, but suffered a 76-run loss in the second. The series decider saw a brilliant performance from Smriti Mandhana, who scored a century, and Harmanpreet Kaur, who contributed a half-century. India clinched the series with a six-wicket victory. Mandhana's century-making feat made her India's leading century-scorer in women's cricket, surpassing Mithali Raj. Deepti Sharma was adjudged the Player of the Match for her outstanding performance.
