West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder's four-wicket haul helped Andre Russell-led Abu Dhabi Knight Riders to defeat Sharjah Warriorz by 30 runs in the sixth match of the International League T20 (ILT20) played at Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Sharjah who were chasing 160 runs bundled out on just 129 runs. 

Russell smashes three sixes

Knight Riders came to bat first during the sixth match of the ILT20. The side were unable to get a good start as they lost three wickets on just 62 runs. Joe Clarke scored 32 runs with four fours in 27 balls. Apart from this, Laurie Evans scored 39 runs with three fours and one six in 31 balls while captain Russell also played an unbeaten innings of 24 runs with three sixes in 12 balls. That helped Knight Riders score 159 runs for five wickets in 20 overs.

Coming to chase the target of 160 runs, Sharjah Warriorz were unable to recover from the havoc created by Jason Holder and David Willey. While Jason Holder took four wickets, Willey took three wickets. Due to this, the highest score for Sharjah was 24 runs from 11 balls with two fours and two sixes and his entire team collapsed for 129 runs in 19.3 overs. The Knight Riders have registered their first win in the second match and have secured third place in the points table with two points.
