Team Ruhuna

The Ruhunu Eleven is one of the five provincial cricket teams in Sri Lankan cricket. It represents Southern Province and is based in Galle.

Over the years, the team has had various international cricketers to play for them but unfortunately, not a single win has come their way. They have, on most occasions, finished as runners-up in all the competitions. However, the team won the Inter Provincial Twenty20 Tournament held for the 2011-12 season, after beating Wayamba in a Super Over in the finals, hence gaining a berth in the 2011 Champions League T20.
