Indian men's hockey team shocked Germany in their final leg of the FIH Pro League on May 1, Saturday. India beat the reigning World Champions Germany with a scoreline of 3-0. Harmanpreet Singh was the first goal-scorer for India. Apart from Harmanpreet, Sukhjeet Singh and Gurjant Singh's goals helped the side to dominate World Champions. Germany failed to score a goal out of 12 PC's.

 

The first quarter was filled with a a lot of action as both teams gave tough competition to each other. Sukhjeet Singh and Mandeep Singh created so many chances in the first half. On the other hand, PR Sreejesh was put through the hard yards as the Germans winning a lot of PCs in the opening minute. Sreejesh proved why he is still the king of India's defense.
