This possible appointment would be another addition to Trump’s cabinet picks, which have already drawn attention for their mix of billionaires.

This discussion also led to a mention of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has been proposed as a possible US Health Secretary appointee.

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, a staunch supporter of US President-elect Donald Trump, recently suggested that he might be considered for a position in the President's second-term cabinet. Speaking to Fox News, Hogan revealed that during a conversation last month, Trump seemed open to the idea of having the iconic wrestler take on a significant role in his administration.

This possible appointment would be another addition to Trump’s cabinet picks, which have already drawn attention for their mix of billionaires, MAGA allies, and outsider political figures like Pete Hegseth, Matt Gaetz (who has since withdrawn), and Linda McMahon. Hogan’s inclusion would undoubtedly add to the perceived unpredictability of Trump’s administration.

Hogan and Trump’s Conversation at Madison Square Garden

Hogan recounted his conversation with Trump at a rally at Madison Square Garden in New York.

“My president said, ‘You know something, you’d be great to run the President’s Council on Physical Fitness’,” Hogan shared, hinting at the possibility of leading the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition," said Hogan

Hogan in Politics?

The President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition is a federal advisory committee tasked with promoting healthy eating and physical activity across the country. The current administration under President Joe Biden has renewed the council until September 30, 2025. However, Hogan’s comments have sparked speculation about what role he might play in Trump’s second term, though there has been no official statement from the Trump campaign regarding his potential inclusion.

Discussing Health and Fitness with Trump

In their conversation, Hogan and Trump delved into topics like nutrition, physical fitness, and health. Hogan elaborated, saying, “We talked about nutrition, and how many foreign countries won’t even let their people eat the food that we eat here in America. It’s so bad, and it’s poisoned a generation of kids. And at the end of the day, we start talking about physical fitness.”

This discussion also led to a mention of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has been proposed as a possible US Health Secretary appointee. While the suggestion of RFK Jr. has raised eyebrows among public health experts due to his controversial stance on vaccines and health policies, Hogan’s focus appeared to be on improving the nation’s overall health through fitness and nutrition.

Hulk Hogan’s Strong Support for Trump

Hogan’s admiration for Trump is well-known, having publicly declared him his “hero” and “gladiator” during the Republican National Convention (RNC). At the event, the 70-year-old WWE icon famously ripped off his shirt to announce his unwavering support for the then-presidential candidate. Hogan, whose real name is Terry G. Bollea, expressed his belief that Trump could “bring America back together,” aligning himself closely with the former president’s political vision.

The Trump Administration’s Controversial Picks

Hogan’s potential role in the Trump 2.0 administration would be in line with the unconventional nature of the cabinet selections so far. The inclusion of figures like Pete Hegseth, Matt Gaetz, and Linda McMahon has stirred debate, with many questioning the suitability of these individuals for government positions. Hogan’s rise to prominence in the world of professional wrestling and his unorthodox political support would likely add to the contentious dynamic of the incoming administration.

Potential Role for Jay Bhattacharya in Trump’s Cabinet

In other cabinet-related news, Jay Bhattacharya, a Stanford University-trained economist and physician originally from Kolkata, has been reported as a strong contender to become the next director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Bhattacharya, who has gained attention for his critiques of current health policies, reportedly impressed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with his ideas to overhaul the NIH, further adding to the drama surrounding Trump’s potential picks for key health positions.

Earlier WWE's former CEO Linda McMahon was appointed as Education Chief in Trump's Cabinet.
