Nortje's victims were openers Najmul Hossain Shanto, Sourmya Sarkar, skipper Shakib Al Hasan and tailender Taskin Ahmed.
Nortje's four-fer helped South Africa bundle out Bangladesh for 101 in run chase of 206 at Sydney Cricket Ground.
This is also the most economical (2.85) four-fer for South Africa in T20I cricket.
