Former Delhi cricketer Mithun Manhas has filed his nomination to become the next BCCI president.

Mithun Manhas has been nominated by Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) where he has served as administrator.

Mithun Manhas made his first-class debut in 1997/98 season. He represented India Under-19 and A side as well.

Despite a good record in first-class cricket, Manhas did not get his senior cap in the presence of Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid.

Mithun Manhas has played 147 first-class games, scoring 9,714 runs at an average of 45.82. He has 27 centuries and 49 fifties in red-ball format.

Mithun Manhas' best Ranji season was in 2007-08 when Delhi won the title. He scored 921 runs at an average of 57.56.

Mithun Manhas had a decent record in List A cricket too, scoring 4,126 runs from 130 games at an average of 45.84, including 5 centuries and 26 fifties.

Mithun Manhas was handy with off-spin as well. He has 75 wickets, including 40 in first-class cricket. He could keep wickets as well.

Mithun Manhas has played for three IPL franchises – Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals), now defunct Pune Warriors India and Chennai Super Kings.

Mithun Manhas has played IPL from the inaugural season to 2014. From 55 games, he scored 514 runs at an average of 22.34 and strike rate of 109.36. He didn't have a fifty in his IPL career.
