Led by Jude Bellingham, England dominated Iran in their first match of the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder scored 35 minutes into the match to give his team the lead.

With this goal, he now makes it to a special list which is led by another England legend.

The youngest scorer for England at a FIFA World Cup was former Liverpool striker Michael Owen.

His goals at the 1998 FIFA World Cup against Romania and then Mexico occupy the top two spots.

Owen was 18 years old when he scored these two goals for the Three Lions.

Joining Bellingham on fourth in this list is 21-year-old Bukayo Saka, with his goal doubled England's lead in the 43rd minute.

In the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2022, mascots of earlier tournaments were also shown.

A total of 32 teams are participating in this tournament and they are divided into eight groups.
