Rs 4669.99 Cr windfall on Women's IPL. Know which franchisee splurged maximum bucks

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) made a big announcement for the upcoming Women's IPL on Wednesday (January 25).

The first season of the Women's IPL will be held in March in which a total of 5 teams will participate.

Five Franchises have broken bank to buy the ownership of five teams which will be playing in the Women's IPL 2023.

Adani Group got the most expensive deal of the women's IPL as they bought Ahmedabad for Rs 1289 Crore.

The second most expensive deal was of Mumbai which was bought for Rs 912 Crore by Mumbai Indians.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has bought Bangalore team for Rs 901 crore.

JSW GMR Group has bought the Delhi team for Rs 810 crores.

Meanwhile, Capri Group has bought the Lucknow franchise for Rs 757 crore.

This is how, all the five teams were bought for a whopping Rs 4669.99 crore.
