Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Daiyan Henley's brother, Jabri Henley, was shot dead on Friday night. As per TMZ, the unfortunate incident took place in Los Angeles.

As per TMZ's report, the Los Angeles Police Department was called to the intersection of 69th Street and Figueroa post 11 pm after a shooting. The report suggested that the victim was shot after approaching a vehicle outside a smoke shop. Officers arrived at the scene and attempted to save the victim's life, but he succumbed to his injuries, as per to TMZ. Daiyan and Jabari are the sons of rap legend Eugene "Big U" Henly, who has managed notable artists, consisting of Nipsey Hussle and Kurupt. He is the alleged leader of the Rolling 60's Neighborhood Crips.

While Daiyan went on to become a pro football player, Jabari, also known as "Baby Uiie," decided to make a career as a rap artist. He featured on HoodRick Pablo Juan's song "Hood" and also appeared on Young Mazi's 2-16 track, "I was Trippin."

Daiyan Henley's Chargers to face Titans on Sunday

Daiyan Henley is expected to be a part of the roster for the LA Chargers' Week 9 clash against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

The Chargers selected the linebacker with the 85th pick in the 2023 NFL draft. In three seasons, Daiyan has appeared in 40 games and has tailed 215 total tackles, 3.0 sacks, two interceptions and 10 tackles for loss.

This year, he has registered 52 tackles, 20 sacks and one interception while helping Jim Harbaugh and his team to a 5-3 record.
