It is the Kansas City Chiefs, who have once again prevailed against the Buffalo Bills in the Playoffs. The hosts won the match and the AFC Championship with the score line of 32-29.

Having gathered the upper hand over the Bills each time in the Playoff phase in the past, the Chiefs started on a positive note, claiming 7-3 lead after the first quarter. The Bills staged a comeback in the second quarter, but the Chiefs were yet again able to take a one-point cushion. The Chiefs led 21-16 at halftime. However, after the interval, the visitors showcased their ominous self and won the round 6-0 to go with a one-point lead in the fourth quarter. The dramatic fourth quarter witnessed the Chiefs taking the lead once again, courtesy of a touchdown by their star Quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The 8-pointer gave the Chiefs a significant advantage on the scorecard, 29-22. Nevertheless, the Bills still had adequate time under their sleeve to turn it around, and the equaliser came just six minutes before the full-time through a touchdown from Curtis Samuel. Following this it was anybody's game, but with just a little more than three minutes remaining on the clock, the Chiefs once again took the lead. This time via a field goal attempt from Butker. After that, the hosts were able to hold on to their lead to eventually win the match and progress to the Super Bowl 59. The Kansas City Chiefs are the AFC Champions again.
