National Football League's (NFL) franchise Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is making some real changes when it comes to his real estate. He recently listed his two luxurious properties in Hidden Hills, California, for sale. One of the major selling aspects of these properties is that they were previously owned by rapper Drake.
Matthew Stafford wants to sell two properties previously owned by Drake
As per the Realtor, the quarterback has listed two of his ranch houses in Hidden Hills for $5.7 million and $6.8 million each. Both these properties were built for Drake as an exclusive part of his YOLO (you only live once) estate until Stafford bought them.
Both these ranch houses were bought by Stafford back in 2022 for a whopping $11 million. The first estate is bigger as compared to the second one and was built in 1955. It has four bedrooms along with five bathrooms and covers almost 3,645 square feet.
The second property covers almost 2,499 square feet and has three bedrooms along with three bathrooms. It also comes with an additional 2-acre lot. The property was built back in 1957.
The decision to sell both his ranch houses comes one year later after he and his wife Kelly bought a winery worth $10.5 million. Last year in December, they made another major investment in the form of the mansion they currently reside in.
The mansion Stafford and his family are currently residing in, was previously owned by Jennifer Lopez. According to the Realtor, the couple shed around $28.2 million to reconstruct a new mansion in place of a traditional house.
Matthew Stafford could be traded to the Minnesota Vikings
Matthew Stafford has been with the Los Angeles Rams since 2021 and even helped them win the Super Bowl in his first season. But, things have not gone as planned and there are strong rumours of a move to Minnesota Vikings.
"SOURCES: The Vikings and Rams are in serious trade talks for Matthew Stafford. Minnesota made a push to trade for Stafford this offseason but are now revisiting with the idea that he can be the piece to help them win a Super Bowl this season," NFL analyst Jack Settleman said.
If the rumours are said to be true, then the Vikings will have one of the strongest list of quarterbacks in the league. They currently have Sam Darnold, Nick Mullens and rookie JJ McCarthy. But there are chances that Stafford could even call it a day and consider retirement.
