Minnesota Vikings wideout Justin Jefferson has cemented himself as one of the amazing wideouts in the NFL. However, Jefferson's output has seen a decline this season amid Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy's struggles.

On Wednesday, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce expressed his opinion on Jefferson's dip while noting how Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold is getting the best out of his wideout, Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

"Still gotta give them the ball, though, look at Justin Jefferson, though," Kelce said on his "New Heights" podcast (28:38). "What he (Darnold) did with Justin Jefferson the year before (with the Vikings). Now, Justin's numbers haven't been as great for him this year, even though he's still probably the same player, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba is balling out. One common denominator: he's got Darnold throwing it to him.

Jefferson, who won the Offensive Player of the Year award in 2022, has dropped 832 yards and two touchdowns on 66 receptions this season for the Vikings.

Meanwhile, Smith-Njigba has joined the debate for the Offensive Player of the year award this season, The Seahawks WR has registered 1,541 yards and nine touchdowns on 96 receptions, having formed an excellent partnership with Darnold.

Darnold, who penned with the Seahawks in the offseason, has dropped 3,433 passing yards, 22 touchdowns and 11 interceptions this season.
