Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid broke his silence on the National Football League (NFL) referee conspiracy in the build-up to Super Bowl 59. The talking point around the Kansas City Chiefs vs Philadelphia Eagles clash is how the officials favored the former in their Divisional round match against Houston Texans and in the AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills.

The Houston Texans were hit with eight penalties for 82 yards against the Chiefs. The two roughing-the-passer calls labeled as the turning point of the contest. Against the Bills, there were some decisions that didn't go their way with the first being from Josh Allen that was ruled in the Chiefs' favor. The second one was from a Xavier Worthy catch in the second quarter that hit the ground but was ruled complete.
Since then, the fans have come up with the notion that the referees are favoring the Chiefs. Their head coach Andy Reid recently made an appearance on the 'Pat McAfee Show' this week, when he was asked about the matter, he came up with a blunt answer.
Yeah right. I try not to pay attention to any of that stuff, the Chiefs head coach said.
Fans call out for #boycottsuperbowl
According to X (formerly known as Twitter), over 300,000 people plan to boycott Super Bowl 59 with the hashtag #boycottsuperbowl trending on the social media platform.
San Francisco 49ers star Nick Bosa's mother Cheryl was the latest to join the long list of fans who will boycott Super Bowl 59. She took to her Instagram where she reposted a video in which many calls went against the Niners when they last met the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
But, Buffalo Bills running back James Cook thought the other way around as he feels that the Bills shouldn't have allowed the referees to be a factor in the AFC championship game.
