With a 3-7 record on the season, the Cowboys are on a historically bad run.

Despite injuries, including quarterback Dak Prescott being sidelined for the season, Lamb and Diggs are among the team’s best players.

The Dallas Cowboys suffered their fifth consecutive home loss on Sunday, falling 34-10 to the Houston Texans, just one week after a 34-6 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles. With a 3-7 record on the season, the Cowboys are on a historically bad run, trailing by 20 or more points at home for a record six straight games, effectively ending their playoff hopes.

After the loss, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and cornerback Trevon Diggs were spotted out at a nightclub, which didn’t sit well with some fans.

One fan commented, “This is why y’all suck,” while another added, “The Dallas Cowboys are not a serious football operation.” However, other fans came to their defense, with one saying, “Losers are allowed to have fun too,” and another stating, “Good for them. They can only control what they can control. Having a terrible owner shouldn’t bring them down lol.”

Lamb Diggs the last hope for team

Despite injuries, including quarterback Dak Prescott being sidelined for the season, Lamb and Diggs are among the team’s best players and their presence at the nightclub shouldn’t be the focus. The Cowboys are having one of their worst seasons in a decade, and with their home record as poor as it is, the stadium is less packed than usual.

The loss was compounded by the absence of Prescott, replaced by backup quarterback Cooper Rush. The Texans, led by head coach DeMeco Ryans, capitalized on the situation.

Ryans spoke earlier about Rush’s experience and ability to efficiently operate the offense, stating, “Cooper has been there a while and he understands how to operate the offense very efficiently. When it comes to everything, every operation that goes with the offense, the checks, getting them in the proper plays, Cooper does a great job of managing all of the pre-snap operations and he does a great job of getting the ball out, finding his playmakers, making really good decisions with the football. "So, we still have to be on all of our details. Cooper has a great record. When he's started, he's won a lot of games. So, we're going in with the mindset of it being about the Texans and about us executing the right way."
