Experienced linebacker Von Miller had one of the best seasons of his career with the Washington Commanders in 2025. The 36-year-old wants to make a comeback to the team where he made his name in the offseason.
Von Miller's love for the Denver Broncos
Miller, who was the second overall pick from the 2011 NFL draft by the Denver Broncos, represented the team for almost a decade. The veteran linebacker penned for the Commanders on a one-year deal in July.
However, in an interaction with the "Free Range" podcast, Miller said he wants to represent the Broncos again in the 2026 season. The veteran LB said he wants to impart his knowledge and improve the linebacker room.
"Y'all make room for me over there with the Denver Broncos," Miller said. "I would love to be in that linebacker room and give Nik Bonitto all the knowledge that I got, everything that I got, for him to be the best version of himself.
"I would love to be a Denver Bronco next season and be in that linebacker room with him, and Jonathon Cooper, and contribute in any that I can to improve those guys."
Von Miller wants to return the favor to Broncos players
Former Broncos star Von Miller led the team to win Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers in 2016. Miller was named the Super Bowl MVP for his iconic performance.
The veteran linebacker said he wants to spread his knowledge and help the youngsters like some of his former teammates did for him.
"Any of the knowledge that I have, I will give to you," Miller said. "The same way DeMarcus [Ware] did for me, Elvis Dumervil did for me, Shaun Phillips did for me. I would love to do that for those young guys with the Denver Broncos."
Miller earned eight Pro Bowl selections during his tenure with the Broncos. He won his second Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams in 2021.
