POTUS Donald Trump reignites Taylor Swift feud while gushing over this Hollywood star: “Can’t stand her”

In yet another fiery social media tirade, U.S. President Donald Trump has taken fresh aim at pop icon Taylor Swift, reigniting their long-running feud—while simultaneously heaping praise on Hollywood beauty, Sydney Sweeney.

The former Apprentice host took to his Truth Social platform Monday morning with a pointed post that not only lauded Sweeney's recent success but also took a sharp jab at the “Anti-Hero” singer, whom he has publicly criticized multiple times over the past year.

Sydney Sweeney gets presidential praise

Trump began his post by singling out “Euphoria” actress Sweeney, who recently sparked backlash over her American Eagle jeans ad. The controversy deepened when reports confirmed that Sweeney is a registered Republican—an unusual stance in liberal-leaning Hollywood. Trump seized the moment to applaud the actress and her popularity.

“Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the 'HOTTEST' ad out there,” Trump wrote. “It's for American Eagle, and the jeans are 'flying off the shelves.' Go get ‘em Sydney!”

His endorsement was not just a nod to her ad campaign but a broader statement about how conservative celebrities are gaining traction despite Hollywood's liberal ecosystem.

Taylor Swift targeted once again: “Can’t stand her”

Trump didn’t stop at praising Sydney Sweeney. He soon turned his attention to one of his favorite targets: Taylor Swift. The 14-time Grammy winner became collateral damage in his post, with Trump resurrecting his disdain for her—particularly in light of her vocal support for Vice President Kamala Harris and other Democratic candidates.

“Or just look at Woke singer Swift. Ever since I alerted the world as to what she was by saying on TRUTH that I can’t stand her (HATE!), she was booed out of the Super Bowl and became, NO LONGER HOT,” Trump posted.

His comments reference the viral moment when Swift was reportedly booed during the 2025 Super Bowl. At the time, Trump commented:

“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving.”

It’s not the first time he’s doubled down on his disapproval. In a May 2025 Truth Social rant, he added:

“Has anyone noticed that, since I said 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,' she’s no longer 'HOT?'”
