Turner's career in the NBA

Turner spent a decade in the league as he was drafted second overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2010. Further on, he had short stints with the Indians Pacers, Boston Celtics and Portland Trail Blazers. For the last time in 2020, he played 19 times for the Atlanta Hawks.

After his retirement from the sport, Evan Turner spent his time with the Boston Celtics as their player development coach.

Evan Turner's reaction to the NBA's latest big signing

Just before the season gets underway, most teams have made their moves to sign players. There are reports that the Denver Nuggets have given Jamal Murray a contract extension of worth $209 million for four long years. With this new deal, the veteran guard will make around $250 million for the next five years.

After the Olympics, many speculated that the Nuggets would make a huge offer for their star player and finally, it was done. Some feel that the price tag is too steep but Evan Turner thinks the opposite. He feels that the guard is deserving of this opportunity.

After he recovered from his ACL injury that he suffered in 2021, he has been an integral part of the Denver Nuggets alongside Nikola Jokic.
