In a shocking and embarrassing moment during the Asia Cup 2025 match between India and Pakistan, a massive blunder happened when the DJ played an item song, Jalebi Baby, instead of Pakistan’s national anthem. The incident happened after the toss when both squads were out for the national anthems at Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.
It was a two-three second clip which shocked the Pakistani cricketers who were ready for their national anthem by putting their right hand on their chest. The video of the incident went viral on social media in no time. Here is the video.
Apart from that, another incident went viral during the toss when India captain Suryakumar Yadav refused the customary handshake with Agha. He then handed over the team list to the umpire, paused for an obligatory chat with the commentator and retreated to the dressing room. Shaking hands is a traditional gesture of good sportsmanship between opposing team captains at the beginning of a game, often before the coin toss.
Coming back to the match, Kuldeep Yadav's three-wicket haul, followed by Axar Patel's (2/18 in 4 overs) discipline and Varun Chakravarthy's (1/24 in 4 overs) guile, restricted Pakistan to 127 for nine as the Men in Blue dominated in the first half of the Asia Cup 2025 clash in Dubai.
