Delhi Police took a hilarious dig at Pakistan after India registered a six-wicket dominating win against the arch-rivals at Dubai International Stadium in Dubai. After losing their second Champions Trophy 2025 consecutive league match, the tournament hosts could face an early exit. 

Virat Kohli's 51st ODI century helped India seal their berth for the semifinals. Soon after India's win social media users started sharing memes and jokes to mock Pakistan. Delhi Police joined in with a sarcastic remark.  

“Just heard some weird noises from the neighbouring country. Hope those were just TVs breaking.”

Coming back to the match, after opting to bat Pakistan managed to score 241 runs despite getting a good start. India bowlers Kuldeep Yadav picked up three wickets and Hardik Pandya got two scalps. Kohli who was facing a lot of criticism for his poor performances smashed an unbeaten match-winning ton.

During the knock against Pakistan, Kohli also got to a special milestone in the run chase as he became only the second Indian and third overall to amass 14000 ODI runs after Sachin Tendulkar (18,246 runs) and Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara (14,234 runs).

When asked about his approach in the innings, Kohli said: "I have a decent understanding of my game. It's about keeping the outside noise away and taking care of my energy levels and thoughts.

India will now face New Zealand for their third league match which will take place on March 2.
