Former India captain Virat Kohli along with Anushka Sharma and kids Vamika and Akaay met Premanand Ji Maharaj in Vrindavan ahead of the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. This is the second time the couple has visited Vrindavan to meet Premanand Ji Maharaj. 

Earlier, the couple visited spiritual guru in 2023 along with Vamika before the ODI World Cup where Kohli created history by scoring the most runs in a single edition of the World Cup. Kohli smashed 765 runs in 11 matches including three centuries. 

The video of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma alongside kids meeting Premanand Ji Maharaj is going viral on the social sphere. As per the sources close to Sports Tak, the legendary cricketer met spiritual guru on January 10, 2025.

"We are giving happiness to people by practising. We are giving happiness. And this happiness is given to the whole of India in one game. If they win, then we get rid of the crackers in the whole of India. The happiness is celebrated in the whole of India. Isn't this their practice? This is also their practice. If they make it a part of their love for Bhagwat, then the whole of India is associated with them. If they win, then the children of the children are delighted with India" Maharaj ji on Kohli's game. 

Kohli last featured in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 where the batter failed to perform against Australia as he scored 190 runs in five Test outings where Australia defeated India 3-1 to win the series. 

Kohli will now most likely be seen in action in the ODI series against England which is scheduled to start from February 9. This will be India's last assignment before the much-awaited Champions Trophy. 

Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to start from February 19 and India will play their opener clash on February 20 against Bangladesh. India will play all their Champions Trophy matches in Dubai.
