During the 5th and final Test match between India and England in Dharamsala, English batter Jonny Bairstow reacted to Indian fans chanting 'Bazball gets battered everywhere they go'. In a video that has gone viral on the internet, Indian fans can be seen taunting Bairstow, who was fielding on the boundary, with hilarious chants. To Bairstow's credit, the seasoned England cricketer ignored the chants at first but couldn't resist reacting later.

Forgettable tour for Jonny Bairstow

Jonny Bairstow failed miserably during the recently concluded Test series against India. In 10 innings he batted in the series, Bairstow could only manage to score 238 runs at a dismal average of 23.80. Bairstow's poor show with the bat was one of the primary reasons why England's middle order remained fragile right through the series.

India tame 'Bazball'

The last Test in Dharamsala saw India exude dominance right from the onset. On the back of a complete team performance, Rohit Sharma's men outplayed the Three Lions by an innings and 64 runs and clinched the series by a margin of 4-1. While England's batters appeared clueless against the Indian spinners in the final Test, the Indian batters dominated the Three Lions' bowling attack in supreme style.

England squandered a golden opportunity

After England won the first match of the series in Hyderabad, they were perfectly placed to dictate proceedings in the rest of the series. With some of the senior Indian players missing the series, the Three Lions had a golden chance to repeat the heroics of the 2012-13 English side, which won a Test series on Indian soil. But Ben Stokes' men failed to capitalise on the chance and shot themselves on the foot in the name of 'Bazball'.

India came roaring back into the series and won the remaining four matches, ultimately winning the trophy by a commanding margin.
