The Indian openers joined 39 runs by the fourth over itself before Shakib provided them with the crucial breakthrough.

Another big milestone in the grasp of Shakib

Shakib now needs one more wicket to complete 150 wickets in T20Is. He will be the second bowler after New Zealand's Tim Southee to achieve this massive feat in T20Is. Currently, Southee has 164 wickets from 126 games. Shakib has 148 wickets from 127 games. They are followed by Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan who has 147 wickets from just 90 games.

The star all-rounder has a chance to move up in the list of all-time highest run-scorers in T20 World Cups. Shakib is in need of 56 more runs to overtake former Sri Lanka captain Tillakaratne Dilshan who has 897 runs from 35 games. The left-handed batter has 842 runs from 41 games at an average of 24.05 including four half-centuries.
