Rohit Sharma led the Indian cricket team to another dominant win as they defeated England by 68 runs in the second semi-final to seal their spot in the Final of the ongoing edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 at the Providence Stadium in Guyana, on June 27 (Thursday). However, apart from India's entry in the Final of this mega tournament, Rohit Sharma is also making headlines for another moment. The Indian captain was once again caught by the stump mic and now his conversation with Suryakumar Yadav for Liam Livingstone is going viral all across the internet.

Rohit Sharma is known for giving some really hilarious stump mic moments and he gave another one of those during the India vs England semi-final clash. During the IND vs BAN, Rohit Sharma gave another moment. In the 11th over of Indian innings, Rohit and Surya were on the pitch and Livingstone was bowling. When Rohit was caught saying to Surya "Upar dega to deta hu na" which meant that if Liam bowls a little up towards him, then he will hit him for a six. Then on the very next ball, Liam pitched the ball a little high and Rohit smashed him for a six.

India qualify for the Final

 

England won the toss and asked Team India to bat first but it backfired on them as they managed to post 171/7 on the board in 20 overs. Rohit Sharma's half-century was the star of the innings and got great support from Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya's cameos. Then in the second innings, the Indian spinners Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav grabbed three wickets each and played the pivotal role in bowling out England for just 103 runs and helped the Men in Blue to win the match by 68 runs. Jasprit Bumrah grabbed two crucial wickets as well. Now the Indian team will face South Africa in the Final of T20 World Cup 2024 which will be held in Barbados.
