The ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023 kicks off on February 10 in South Africa, with 10 countries vying for the ultimate trophy. After winning the U19 Women's T20 World Cup, the winners from that side Shafali Verma and Richa Ghosh are now ready to finally win the coveted trophy for team India under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur.
A total of 23 matches will be played over 17 days in the 8th edition of the Women's T20 World Cup. The final is scheduled to happen on February 26, with the first match taking place on February 10 between hosts South Africa and Sri Lanka. The women's team will play their first match of the tournament against neighbouring country and bitter rivals Pakistan on February 12. Following that, the side will face off against West India, England and Ireland in their group-stage games.

All 10 participating teams have been divided into two groups. According to these divisions, each team will play four matches. The top two teams from both groups will qualify for the semi-finals.
