Australia's star leg-spinner Adam Zampa and wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey have returned for the second ODI after missing the opener in Perth. Zampa was out of the first ODI due to personal reasons whereas Carey was playing in the Sheffield Shield encounter against Queensland.
Left-arm spinner Matthew Kuhnemann has been released from the squad but he will return for the five-T20I series. Josh Philippe has been retained in the squad as Josh Inglis will return for the third ODI in Sydney. Inglis was ruled out of first two ODIs as he is yet to recover from a calf strain. Also, left-arm pacer Ben Dwarshuis has been ruled out of the ODI series due to left calf injury.
