'Choose your role models wisely...': Ex-India cricketer's cryptic social media post praising Jasprit Bumrah after Virat Kohli's verbal spat with Sam Konstas goes viral

Former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif's cryptic social media post after Travis Head's wicket sparked speculations about taking an indirect dig on Virat Kohli for his verbal spat with debutant Sam Konstas during the day 1 of the fourth Test match at Melbourne Cricket Stadium in Melbourne. 

Kohli and Konstas were involved in a fight during 10 over when the India star's shoulder collided with Australia's opener. Soon after this incident, the India batting great faced a lot of criticism for his aggression.

However, Mohammed Kaif took his 'X' after Jasprit Bumrah picked up Travis Head's wicket on a duck. In his social media post, Kaif suggested young players to choose their role models wisely. 

"How does Bumrah celebrate the dismissal of Australia's main man Travis Head? No over-the-top celebration, no angry send off, just a smile. Kids learn, choose your role models wisely" posted Kaif on X. 

 

ICC to monitor Kohli vs Konstas verbal spat 

The International Cricket Council (ICC) officials will review Virat Kohli's heated exchange with Aussie debutant Sam Konstas. According to Sports Tak's close source in ICC, the decision is up to the match referee and umpires they will look into the matter and might call players for an explanation and is likely that Virat might be given punishment (demerit points) depending on the explanation. Let's see what stand the referee is going to take.
