Australia stylish batter Travis Head dedicated his 8th Test century to newborn baby Harrison and also paid tribute to former star Phil Hughes after smashing a ton in the ongoing pink ball Test against India in Adelaide on Saturday. This was Head's eighth Test century and third in a pink ball Test. He smashed pink ball centuries against England, West Indies and India. This was his second century in Adelaide. Head took 111 ball to reach the 100 runs mark against India in the ongoing clash. 

With the century against India, Head becomes the fastest player to score a hundred in day-night (pink ball) Tests, breaking his own previous record of 112 balls, set against England in Hobart. 

The 30-year-old tapped his stomach and then cradled his bat, gesturing towards his wife and newborn son, Harrison George Head, who were present at the stadium.

Head and his wife Jess welcomed their second child, George, last month, with the batter then sitting out the ODI and T20 series against Pakistan to spend time with his family.

With this ton, he now has three centuries in the day-night tests, one less than his compatriot Marnus Labuschagne, who tops the list with four hundreds to their name.

This is Travis Head's eighth Test hundred in 51 Test matches and second against India. He also became the first South Australian cricketer to score three centuries at the Adelaide Oval.
