West Indies announced the senior men's national team squad for the second Test match against India. The Desmond Haynes-led selection panel made one change to the squad that featured in the first Test. Raymon Reifer, who failed to make any impact with the bat and scored just 13 runs in two innings in Dominica, was axed from the squad while bowling all-rounder Kevin Sinclair was named a replacement. Apart from this, the rest of the squad remained the same.

Sinclair is yet to represent West Indies in Test cricket. The 23-year-old has played seven ODIs and six T20Is for the Men in Maroon. He has 14 international wickets to his name so far. When it comes to First-Class cricket, Sinclair has bagged 54 wickets in 18 matches at an average of 23.98.

The second Test match between West Indies and India is scheduled to be played at Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Meanwhile, India wrapped up the first Test against the West Indies in just three days as they secured a massive innings and 141-run victory over the hosts in Roseau, Dominica, on Friday, July 15. Windies needed 271 runs to take the lead but seven wickets by Ravichandran Ashwin bundled them for 130 runs in the second innings. However, the hero with the bat on his Test debut was Yashasvi Jaiswal.

On his Test match debut, young prodigy Jaiswal left an ever-lasting impression on cricket followers around the world. The left-handed batter scored a well-constructed century in the first Test match against West Indies. The southpaw displayed great composure and patience as he batted for a record 387 deliveries on his debut and scored 171 runs with the help of 16 fours and one sixes. It was a dream come true moment for Jaiswal, who once used to sell 'pani puri' for pocket money.

West Indies squad for 2nd Test: Kraigg Brathwaite (captain), Alick Athanaze, Jermaine Blackwood, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Rahkeem Cornwall, Joshua Da Silva, Shannon Gabriel, Jason Holder, Alzarri Joseph, Kirk McKenzie, Kemar Roach, Kevin Sinclair, Jomel Warrican.
