With this, LSG entered the top four with four points after the first three matches. He surpassed his own record of the fastest ball with a 156.7 kph delivery on April 2.

After the match, Mayank took to Instagram and shared a post with the caption: ‘Look mom I can fly’.

Meanwhile, Mayank stunning spell left the opposition captain Faf du Plessis in awe. He was impressed by Mayank’s ability and discipline.

"It is the new action you haven't faced before, and especially if there is a bit of pace behind it that's promising, It takes batters time to get used to someone's action to see how the ball is coming out of the hand. So obviously pace is one thing but what impressed me tonight was his ability to control length and bowl with some really good discipline as well, so it's the pace combined with accuracy," Du Plessis said at the post-match presentation.
