Barring the last over with four wides, Mohammed Siraj was perfect against the Mumbai Indians (MI) during the Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) eight-wicket victory at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday, April 2. Siraj took one wicket but had 16 dot balls and conceded only two fours in his four overs.

During the latest edition of the RCB Podcast, the India pacer opened up on his recent experiences with online trolling, saying that one day he is considered India's hero, and the next, he is an auto driver. "It is easy to write abuses," Siraj said on RCB Podcast with Danish Sait.

"But you don't know anything about his struggle. How can you abuse someone then? Those messages kill your motivation. A guy is getting abused for no reason at all. Why? What's next? One day they call you the future of India, the next day they claim you are nothing and should drive an auto. I don't understand this" the bowler further added.

He also added that actions like online trolls can kill the motivation of a player and people keep changing their minds about a player that it hurts their confidence. He requested all the fans to respect the players as they are human as well.

"When you perform well, people start praising you so much, You are such a good bowler, next level. When I was retained, it was called as best retention. Now they question why I was retained? There was no need for you to be retained. You aren't good enough to play cricket," Siraj said

"Thank you for all the support but don't abuse anyone. Ups and downs are part of life. That's all I can say. Rest is up to you. You are aware of our struggle still behave like that with us. That doesn't affect us much but as a human all I can ask from you is respect everyone," the RCB fast bowler concluded.

Siraj has been a regular for India in the national setup ever since the 2020-21 Australia Test series when he acquired the top spot in the ODI bowlers rankings. While his stay at the top was brief, it is expected that Siraj will be one of the lead bowlers for India in their upcoming 2023 ODI World Cup.
