In the International League T20 (ILT20) game between Dubai Capitals and Gulf Giants, the latter registered an emphatic six-wicket win at the Dubai International Stadium on January 16 (Monday). James Vince played a match-winning knock of 83 runs off 56 balls with the help of seven fours and three sixes. Gulf Giants chased down the target of 183 runs with one over to spare. For Dubai, Robin Uthappa played a fantastic knock of 79 runs off 46 balls with the help of 10 fours and two sixes.

After the conclusion of Dubai Capitals' innings, who batted first on the evening, Uthappa was presented with a Green Belt. As soon as the picture of Uthappa with the green belt was shared on social media, netizens went into a frenzy as the silverware looked like a world Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) belt.

The green belt is handed over to the leading run-scorer in the competition and Uthappa topped the chart after his 79-run knock. Vince then overhauled Uthappa's tally of runs and with a total aggregate of 148 runs in two matches, the Englishman is the leading run-getting in the tournament so far. Meanwhile, the Indian batter has scored 122 runs in two matches. Therefore, the Green Belt is similar to the Orange Cap that is handed to the leading run-scorer in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Furthermore, the leading wicket-taker will secure the White Belt while the Most Valuable Player (MVP) will take home the Red Belt.  The team that goes on to win the competition will be presented with the Black Belt. Also, the best player among the 24 UAE cricketers participating in the tournament will be rewarded with the Blue Belt.
