Azam Khan did not have the best outing in the final T20I against England. First, he got out on a five-ball duck and then dropped two crucial catches while wicket-keeping. During the 9th over, Azam gave Will Jacks a lifeline in Haris Rauf's over. This extremely infuriated the pacer as he was seen screaming in disbelief and anger. It was an easy catch that Azam Khan dropped and now the video of a furious Rauf is going viral all across the social space.

However, this was not the only catch he dropped. During the final over of the batting powerplay, he dropped the ball when Phil Salt was batting, who scored a match-winning 45-run knock off just 25 balls. Now the wicket-keeper batter is getting heavily trolled on the internet.

Babar Azam on series loss against England

The Men in Green came to this series after witnessing a loss against Ireland, however, it was in just one match but their overall performance was quite disappointing. Now a series loss against England is a big hit to their confidence ahead of the marquee event set to be held in the United States and West Indies. from June 2. None of these are good signs for the former champions. Babar Azam blamed their middle order for the loss in the final T20I and wished they do not repeat this kind of performance in the mega tournament.

“First six overs, we played very well. After that, the momentum shifted as wickets fell. Our middle-order needs to step up. You need 2-3 good overs in the middle and in the death as well. England's bowling was very good. Hopefully, we don't do this in the World Cup. We made a couple of changes due to the injuries. Our powerplay was good. We have played good cricket in patches,” said Babar Azam in the post-match presentation.
