South Africa achieved a special feat what no other team ever managed to notch against India in a Test series on Indian soil. Temba Bavuma's South Africa made history on November 26, as they became the first team in the world to whitewash India twice in a Test series on Indian soil.
South Africa's historic Test series sweep against India
Proteas bulldozed India by 408 runs in the second Test in Guwahati, and with this they swept the series 2-0. Notably, South Africa first clocked the feat back in 2000, when they won the two-match Test series in India with an identical 2-0 scoreline. Notably, no other team globally has managed to win all the matches of a Test series against India, while playing on Indian soil, on two separate occasions.
